Tried to order a to go order on line. Only pay with a card, so I tried to call in a order. They no longer take phone orders. I was going to pay cash. I give it a three star only because the food is good.

One of the BEST Waffle Houses around, very clean place staff is always friendly, food fresh and made to order, usually not that busy. Easy location right off the Highway, and easy return to to highway to continue your travels with a full belly and a face with smiles for miles.They have a great Blueberry Waffle.Absolutely will return and I highly recommend this location to Others!Parking: Oddly the closest parking to the door Isn't the Handicap spaces, keep that in mind, there is a double door entry, meaning you go through one door and then open another to get it, might need help if alone.Kid-friendliness: Bring your Kids it's the last Diner I know that looks like the 1950's. Bar stool is always fun.

Sat at the hightop table near the grill and observed the cook prepare all of the food. He was busy! Yet showed amazing skill with all the special orders in our family of 5. The waitress was very personable and anticipated all of our needs. Better yet, everyone had all their teeth :)

I just walked into this waffle House and there are five employees standing there.. we went to seat ourselves and there was pop all over the seats. All five employees stood there looking at us. Nobody asked if there was a problem, did we need anything just blank stares and snickering as we stood there a good min or so.My husband finally asked if someone could wipe off the seats that there was stuff on, one of the girls went scurrying for a rag then came back to a dirty bucket of water where the "rag" was and wiped it off. We then left as they thought it was ok to be disrespectful. Poor look NC for visitors.. crazy is we never go to Awful House but we wanted breakfast at this hour of coming into to town.. thanks for the reminder NC.. bravo!

The server, Ari, I believe was her name, she was really sweet and took good care of us. The food was delicious, though my husband’s t-bone was WAY overcooked. He asked for it to be rare, and it was cooked well done.
