Moondog is a special place. Not only is everyone made to feel welcome and safe when they come through the doors, but it's such a good bite to eat!! I've tried the Moon wings, the garlic knots, multiple hand tossed pies, and latest, a calzone that made me want to go kiss the chef lol. I've never been disappointed. Pull up to the bar and enjoy any of the handcrafted cocktails, wine, or beer and you'll be a happy camper. Thanks for being there Moondog!

Let me start by saying this is based off of 1 experience and im hoping it's not the normal experience because I've always wanted to go and enjoy this place ! The food was super cold and not seasoned, the server when we told rolled their eyes and said "well were busy" which I've served and I totally understand but at the same time definitely not the response when bringing up food. The atmosphere is great and it's such a cute place ! I was just super bummed the food was cold and tasted super bland/unseasonably and the server just seemed so annoyed when I brought it up. Again I'm hoping this isn't normal but I did also want to bring it to your attention as a resturant. **I did mention speaking to someone and the server said there was no one there to talk to at the time that the person in charge at the time had to deal with things work related outside of the restaurant and so it's the main reason for writing the review instead of speaking to someone there**

First of all, the pizza was great. Then there was the service; it was great, too. And did I say how great the pizza was? Perfect pizza and great service. I've got a new go-to pizza spot in Morganton!

Unfortunately we were unable to eat at the restaurant because it is at the top of a staircase, no handicap accessible entrance for a person using a walker, unable to navigate stairs.

We ordered a pizza tonight. We were told our order would to be ready in 30 minutes. So we left in plenty of time. I waited for our pizza when we got there. Finally, pizza came and away we went. Should have bin a red flag, or pizza box was cold. Pizza looked delicious. We were 2.6 miles away. Called the pizza place. they offered to put the pizza back in oven, then our pizza would be dried out. . I wasn't going to drive back. You would think they would have accommodated us a little better, maybe by offering a pizza at another time. NOPE. The lesson learned, if your pizza box is cold, don't take it..,,

Absolutely wonderful pizza! Highly recommend the garlic sauce. You can tell the ingredients were excellent quality as well. Service was great even tho they were packed and super busy due to the drag show--which was realllllly great as well, btw. As an aside, park behind the building for the main entrance, which is easily accessible.Parking: Main parking and acessible entrance is on the second floor, back of the building. Street parking is available, but many steps to climb.Kid-friendliness: Absolutely GREAT kid friendly show, completely appropriate for all ages, unless you are just a jerk. Kids menu tooWheelchair accessibility: Use the main entrance which is back of building on second floor. Great accessibility, which includes plenty of non booth tables and wider path areas in several places. Great space even for large tilted motorized support chairs.

Sorry for the half eaten pizza in the picture. We couldn't help ourselves! Wasn't bad but wasn't great. I enjoy sweet sauce and this sauce wasn't all that sweet. Not bad pizza! Would eat here again just maybe buy the whole pie next time instead of individual slices.

Claim to be a family restaurant but they have Tarantino and his R-rated violence on the flat screen behind the bar on a Sunday afternoon. Mediocre pizza, BTW

The service was horrible. Even though I sat at the bar the bartender never came back to ask anything about how the food was or any extra drink. The pizza margarita had so much garlic on it. It was nuts. You shouldn't call it a margarita pizza how about maybe just a garlic pizza. The center 2/3 of the pizza crust was wet and soggy. The ambience is a cold industrial feel. Stay away.
I ordered the pizza with BBQ sauce and pineapple. It was good if you like BBQ sauce on your pizza.

Ordered a 5 pizza to go order at 12:00pm to be picked up at 6:30pm. I've waited in the past for a 2 pizza order so phoned well ahead of time to be sure it would be ready. Arrived to be told that the last 2 pizzas weren't ready. Waited 20 minutes. No apologies. This was for a party so we were late with the food. Turned out they didn't start the pizzas until I got there. AND they didn't seem to care. They lost my business.

The Mozzarella wedges are Fantastic, the POPS PIZZA WAS DELICIOUS. DEFINITELY GOING BACK!

Very impressive pizza, flavor was excellent, crust, and sauce were excellent. We picked sausage, mushrooms & basil to top our pizza from their extensive available toppings. We began with the exceptional garlic knots. After that our beautiful pizza arrived. From our first to the final bite, it was delicious!Parking: Street parking in front of the restaurant
