We’ve been going to Bali Hai for 35 + years - since they were in the old Raleigh building that burned down. When we moved to Durham, we went to the one on 9th St - not quite the same ambience as the old place but the food was great.After Covid, everything changed. Hadn't been to a Mongolian BBQ in a while, and was really hopeful about this one. Sadly, it disappointed. I asked for sweet and sour with just a little heat (scale: 2 of 10) and the dish was all heat. It's all I could taste. It came with fried rice, which was also disappointing-it was just rice and onion-nothing else, but had no flavor. Fortunately they had soy sauce.
