Every time I come to this place the food is fantastic. Services a little slow but it's totally worth that. Next time I will try to remember to take pictures of my food before digging in!

Excellent service but was disappointed that the spicy dishes weren't actually that spicy. Next time I order, I would make sure to ask for extra spicy. Very friendly and attentive service and reasonable prices.

[TERRIBLE service and super RUDE front desk] The woman at the front desk is always very rude and very impatient. Today I called to order pick up and the front desk again had a terrible attitude. Don’t go to this restaurant otherwise you’ll be badly treated both for dine in and pick up.

WOW A PERFECT SCORE. When I placed my order it took only 7 minutes and the food was delicious. As soon as I walked in to Taipei It reminded me of a simple and very good restaurant I used to visit in Korea. The lady that took my order was very polite. I would like to say thank you..

Reservation was easy to make. We had the round table and the group loved it. Food was great and had healthy portions.

Excellent authentic food in a comfortable and low-key little restaurant. The authentic Chinese menu is available in English on request. Our favorites are the 3 pepper chicken (spicy) and the black vinegar fish (not spicy, mildly sweet). This is one of our favorite places and we eat here almost every week.

Really rude serving attitude, table was dirty and sticky. No meat at all in meat rice bowl, definitely not coming back again and not recommend.

The experience is terrible today. We waited over 40 mins to get our food. The bok choy took over 1 hour. With such terrible experience and the contemptuous look after requesting another bowl of rice, we still need to pay 18% mandatory tip. In addition, I am concern about the food safety of the restaurant since I saw a dead roach lied on the restroom floor. Some of my friends told me that they had good experience before, but I do not what is wrong today.

This is it. The authentic down home Chinese cuisine. You're not paying for decor, pretty menus, etc. It's all about the food. It's not region specific but it is the real deal. Just go get some.

Best Chinese in the area.I have ordered from here at least 10 times and it’s always been great and healthy (compared to other Chinese restaurants - less oil, better quality, etc.) Employees are always nice and the inside is clean.

I have been ordering peiking duck for years from Taipei Cafe and it has been good. But yesterday, it was a huge disappointment— the duck was hard and dry, tasteless; the sauce was very watery; the bings were stuck together, too thick and hard, we could not tear them apart without damage them, and the price was increased too! I suspect they might have changed the owners? Anyway, stay away my friends! I am not going back myself….

Chicken w green beans was ALL green beans and brown sauce. Green bean had been cooked in a deep fryer so the WHOLE order was greasy and tasted like fried food. Not impressed. It was over 23 dollars for one order and a greasy egg roll.
