Very poorly maintained and manned establishment. Only one person working and they kept leaving to go next door. Ice cream was ok at best. Street parking so not really convenient. Needs a good scrubbing. Some of the signs posted were not appropriate especially for children.

Very nice place. I went to both the bakery and the ice cream shop. I got a German chocolate pie and a red velvet cake—delicious! The best was the white trash butter pecan moonshine ice cream. Yes, it has moonshine in it, but you can hardly taste it. It was a wonderful treat!

Love the variety of ice creams and the portion size never disappoints! It’s hard to choose just one flavor!

Kinda bummed with my experience. The store looked fairly empty but the cashier didn't seem very patient or helpful. I planned on buying a lot of sweets to take home but felt rushed and ended up only getting a few, and probably for the best. Cakes were dry, and the "brownie" was mostly a tin full of chocolate icing and syrup? I'm sure the ice cream is good, but the gluten free bake shop felt lacking.

Yummy tasting ice cream. Great place for a delightful ice cream cone while walking main street of Mt Airy. Try the chocolate chip.

very very unclean. dirty floors, dirt caked on the bottom of the tables, there was scoops of ice cream in opposite flavors, the freezer ice coated a few of the flavors, the girl behind the counter was on her phone while we decided our flavors. just not very welcoming... decent prices tho.

If you are going to Mt Airy for this bakery, don't bother. We made a special trip to get gluten free treats after a vacation in Blacksburg, VA. We were SO disappointed! They make it sound like this is some type of gluten free bakery. Ugh it's so sad. The few sad items they had at 11:30 (right when they opened) were NOT fresh at all and looked dry and at least a couple of days old. The first time we walked in we stood there for 5 minutes with no one greething us. We came back about 20 minutes later thinking they would be stocking fresh items. Nope. I asked about pie and they told me they had frozen pie. Really?? ? Anyway, don't get your hopes up for this place. You will leave sad.

Stopped for a treat after dinner at Walkers. The peanut butter cookie I ordered was good. There is a plethora of treats to be purchased and enjoyed at this bakeshop.

Small and quaint shop for all types of sweet desert. We had strawberry, vanilla, and capachino. The capachino had huge chunks of chocolate in it and was fantastic. Nice size scoops. Great stop while visiting the historic district.

We stopped in on a Friday afternoon. I had two scoops of the Moonshine White Trash and my wife had the Peach Sundae. Both were amazing the rich abs tasty ice cream. Very professional and friendly staff. Special acknowledgment that they are one of the few businesses I have visited that actually enforces the mask requirement. The staff challenged the couple in front of us in a very professional manner and even gave them masks. Great job!!!!

Cute little shop with lots of ice cream flavors to choose from! Good bit of ice cream for what you pay for it. Limited seating but there are benches outside too!

Stopped by to grab some baked goodies and left with a box full. The ice cream side of the shop was closed but there was still a line out the door for pie!

When you ask for a soda to me that is an old time ice cream float. This place delivers those old time results and really know how to make a shake.

My husband had the peach shake with the real peaches, peach ice cream and whip cream on top and I had the Cappuccino ice cream. They were both wonderful and the lady that helped us was very personable and took the time to offer us spoon samples and talk to us. She is from New Jersey, don't know her name, but she did a great job making us feel welcome! We will go back!! She was wearing a mask and using proper Covid19 protective measures in serving us and she was also cleaning tables with cleanser. The prices were also good considering this is a tourist town. Keep up the great work!
