We like Hwy 55 in general, but this location does not meet expectations. Customer service was non existent, waitresses stayed in the back hanging out with coworkers. At one point we were their only customer on a Friday night. No refills, incorrect orders received, unable to order custard after our meal (as the waitress brought a menu but never came back to take our order), bathroom was very dirty. Please do better.

Honestly this place is a joke. It has great food don't get me wrong but when you place a to go order . The staff all asks you 5-10 different times what you ordered and you tell them . When you also placed the order you were told 15 minutes okay we wait 15 minutes before leaving our house which is another 10 minutes away so why not give them an extra 10 minutes to get the order ready . I get there and I'm having to wait another 45 minutes. The staff looked as if they were on something . They acted as if they didn't know their own a** from their own head .. they cooked the fries first before any of the food and still had cold fries when I got home!! Very disappointed! They acted as if they did not even know about the order ,hence I already paid 10 minutes after I got there ! This place has really gone downhill! Not to even mention the cook was handling his phone and buns at the same time without gloves on!

Burger really want bad. Onion rings weren't amazing. I'm 90% sure the root beer I ordered came from a two liter bottle.All stuff that probably won't be a deal breaker, but at this price point, I'd generally expect more

I ordered the cheese steak with tots and it was the sloppiest most soggy cheesesteak I’ve ever had. It had more onions than meat..with super crunchy tots. Almost over cooked. It was basically an onion sandwich....My hubby ordered a bacon cheeseburger and it was a like something you’d get from McDonald’s...his fries were good with ketchup. But all in all the only thing that we’d come back for is their sweet tea and Pepsi!!This really stinks because the last time we were there, their food was really good... so disappointed this time. Would not recommend.

12/29/21: Went inside to place a to go order. Ordered a Shrimp platter with iced tea, a big cheesesteak meal with ice tea and tots and 2 additional chocolate shakes. The good news: the staff was friendly, the facility appeared clean and the food was good. The bad news: 1) No shrimp - changed order to a cobb salad. 2). Got a Cobb salad with NO chicken. 3) Was charged for 4 Shakes (corrected before bill paid). 4) got the food back to hotel - no forks to eat with, no salad dressing for salad, no napkins, no ketchup for tots. Granted - I should have checked the bag thoroughly but come on! Pay attention and stop flirting with the cook and do your job right the first time.

I've wanted to check this place out for a while now, so what better day than today to go and get a cheeseburger? My dad and I went inside and were told by a "voice" to pick a table. I didn't see the person speaking to us, but we went ahead and began walking to one of the back booths/tables. Quickly a female employee came up and placed two menus on the table and told us she'd be right back. We waited for about 5-7 minutes, and eventually, the server returned. We placed our drink order, and in the middle of placing the order for our food (Carolina Classic with fries), the server's phone started going off with an emergency alert. Very distracting and annoying while trying to speak to her. When we received the food, the burger was just blah. It didn't really have a taste to it and appeared almost as if it was dipped in water, the burger...the burger was very "moist," and I hate even using that word. The chili, slaw, and mustard on the bun made the sandwich as a whole very soggy. Our server came to our table about two times, but I had to go to the register to request our ticket and pay. I could hear her multiple times in the restaurant speaking to others, including other customers and employees. While checking out, the server stopped waiting on me to check out and had clarified with the kitchen and another table what size burger the table wanted and what kind of cheese. Not good at all. For two burgers that came with our drinks, it ran us about $21. I don't think I'll be recommending this place to anyone and doubt that I'll be returning.

I called ahead to order and let the staff know our cheer team would be coming in before a game. We were two hours from home, and they met us at the door, had tables ready for all 23 of us, plus had our food and drinks out on the table and labeled. Delicious food. Great prices. Or server was super friendly and worked great under pressure! The place was full and they were under staffed. She was literally doing almost everything. She was overly apologetic for our wait but extremely attentive. Great experience all around. I wish I could remember her name but she had beautiful red hair and probably around 18-22. Thanks whoever you are!!

New manger no good. She doesn’t know what she’s doing! The food is terrible. The stuff I had was burnt. Took forever for a burger and tots. While I was there on Sunday there was fight between the employees. Really shows that the manager knows what she is doing. Will not be returning!
