If I could leave a NEGATIVE 10 star review I would. We went there for lunch today and the lady behind the soda counter was very rude and very disrespectful. When I called her out on her disrespectful attitude. She never apologized and said that she didn't care if we stayed to eat or if we left. She never once offered to apologize for the disrespectful attitude she spoke to us in. So with all of that being said. If you are not as white as the driven snow this is not the place that you want to visit or the place you want to expose your young impressionable children to.

We stop here on our way through Mount Airy. This place was so welcoming and cute. The Owner (I assume) thanked us for coming and made us feel so welcome and appreciated with his questions about our life and where we came from. It is a cute shop we had a burger and a shake, both very good. Grabbed a glass bottle of RC cola on the way out, forgot how good cola tasted coming out of a bottle. Very nice stop on our trip.

This is a must do! Owner made me a hand made cream soda that was amazing. Such a good guy. Got right in and seated. The cream soda was all i had since I had breakfast already. Just wish it opened sooner. Not loud at all. The music was a great touch.

Mayberry's best milkshakes.Nice quaint little place. There is a lot of memorabilia for Andy Griffith. The employees are very nice and will joke around with the customers. My husband and I went here to get a Sundae. What a JOKE! We asked for a hot fudge Sundae and got 1 scoop of ice cream in this big Sundae dish and the hot fudge came out of a foil packet that was heated up in the microwave!!!! I sat at the counter and watched the lady make our Sundae. I was appalled!! This "fake" hot fudge Sundae costs us $8.00! Very disappointed.
