We found tried this place for the first time yesterday. It was such a great experience. We ate the Blueberry cobbler with ice cream and the apple pie bread pudding. We took home a fresh baked sourdough bread loaf. All were excellent! We will definitely come back when we visit Mount Airy!Parking: This shop is in downtown Mount Airy so stree parking and public parking are provided for free. Depending on how busy the area is, will dictate how much you may need to walk.

BE CAREFUL BUYING ALREADY PACKAGED FOOD HERE. I bought a packaged large brownie from this place. Got home, opened to eat it and noticed an odd smell. Tasted it and got a terrible taste. Clearly this product is spoiled and past its expiration date whatever it was. Its hard to tell when it was made as the packaging they put these treats in have no dates at all on them. Could be months old, who knows. Watch out with this place.

We've tried a variety of items from Miss Angel's and all of them have tasted great. We had muffins and a Reeses brownie bake. The muffins were fresh and the brownies were loaded with Reeses toppings (a little bit too sweet/rich). Will definitely keep trying goodies from here!
We stopped to get some hot chocolate for the parade and decided to try the cherry pie. The hot chocolate was cold and so watery I couldn’t taste the chocolate and the pie was so disappointing. Not a good pie at all. I’ve heard some good things, but we were really bummed. Just a waste of money.

my friend got a cake pop from this place and was hoping to hand it out to her family and friends, me and my friend included. i took a nibble while my friend took a bite and she noticed a weird color and after investigating further (we broke it open) we found mold… it was disgusting. we decided to open mine after and it was the SAME thing. i’ve never been so disgusted and im never going to eat anything thats linked to this place.edit: its hard for me to believe the response saying its misinformation and that they last had them in the summer (probably why they’re so moldy). its hard to believe because the cake pop my friend was given literally had red and green sprinkles and what holiday does that sound like? i don't even have to tell you.

I reeeeally want to like this bakery, but in the end it's just so-so. They don't use real whipped cream on their products, it's a hardened form of cool whip, and the flavor is off. Many items taste like the quality of the ingredients are low as well. I understand costs have gone up, but I'd rather pay more for quality than save money and get something that's just not good.Their gluten free items are also so-so. Having been gluten free for a decade, I'm able to make much better items at home. Using real butter and other good quality ingredients makes a difference. There are so many superior options nowadays, gluten free is getting better & better.I will say the atmosphere of their store is adorable! While my husband is also not a fan of their regular baked goods (he can eat gluten), I know many others in the community love them. They also make ice cream, which many people love. Their shop's are a cute visual addition to downtown Mount Airy.

I can’t eat sweets. But when I read the sign that they had chili, I went in. Miss Angel makes a knock your socks of chili. It’s a complete masterpiece. I pride myself on my chili. But Miss Angel creates an event in your mouth. I’ve written recipes that were very good. But Miss Angel created a recipe that is honestly the best chili I’ve ever tasted.
