The food and the atmosphere of this place is amazing! This was my 1st time here and man we loved it! Their staff was very attentive and nice! Will definitely be coming back!!! Best ACP around by far!!!

Freaking great place ? Maybe it's cause we're from out of state, but I've never been to a Mexican place where they give you not just chips and salsa when you sit down, but 4 different homemade sauces/salsa. Food was seriously excellent, but the real credit goes to the staff. Not only were the servers ridiculously attentive, and the manager came around to see how we were doing, but when I left my keys on the table, the waiter came outside, and after finding us checking our pockets, unlocked our doors with the fob in a hilarious moment of helpfulness. I'm writing this review a week later cause the experience stuck with me. 10 stars!

Plaza del Sol has become my favorite place to eat in Mt. Airy. The prices are very reasonable and today was some of the best service we have received. I didn't catch our waiters name but he was fabulous.

I really enjoyed my shrimp fajitas and our waiter was very quick tonight! ? if you’re there try the mango mangarita! I couldn’t drink all of it though ?

This was our third and likely final visit. The food is pretty good... But not worth what we went through. (Also, the mint something margarita is...oof ). We had two waitresses... Both of which were extremely rude. They ignored us multiple times, looking right at us as we were speaking and still walking away. One when laughed at my order and gave us a really hard time when trying to order a "plain hamburger," with they still got wrong and tried to pass it off; as they scraped cheese off the hamburger my little boy ordered (he just wasn't feeling tacos that night, lol). I wiped the remaining cheese off and he dealt with it and we didn't say anything. I waited to get my order and they charged double what I actually asked for would've cost, but she insisted I was ordering "confusingly because i was ordering separate things," and insisted she had a dish that would be less in cost. After being laughed at and argued with, I literally threw my hands up and said, "Sure! Fine! You just bring me whatever you think is best compared to what I just asked for, that'll be fine!" It was nothing like what I'd asked for lol, but I still dug in. It was bland and not even fully cooked. My husband and son enjoyed their food, though they mentioned two other Mexican restaurants here in town that they prefer to Plaza del Sol. We likely won't be back. Maybe we just caught them on a couple of off days... But I have to say, I've never really been made to feel that uncomfortable while trying to place an order at any type of restaurant.

Very bad this time. My three children and I ate and at night one of my children started vomiting then the other and then the other and then me so we hadGoing to the hospital is very bad and well, if indeed it was the food, we were so clever that my children will be able to go back to school until Friday, that is, they will be sick all week, I just hope it doesn't happen to someone else.
We went there last night for my grandsons birthday. We had a party of 18 and they could not keep our drinks filled. We asked for extra ice and the waiter had his hand on top of the ice. We had to constantly ask for stuff because they didn't bring it when ordered. Got dirty bowls to serve out cheese dip for others. My husband ordered a California burrito Texana style and it didn't come with any shrimp. If you have a big group you might want to rethink this restaurant. I was very disappointed because I usually get good service.

We LOVE Plaza Del Sol! We have eaten lots of different things from here and they are all delicious even if you are ordering to go or dining in. It is a great place to bring kids out to dinner too! 100% recommend!

Noticed 93.5 food grade.. looked clean. Stop using blue dye in rim salt...terrible idea. Margaritas were good otherwise. Sweet and sour dip sauce can go as well... Food was
