Love Scoops!Parking: It's a little tight on the main road, but the owner has created plenty of parking off the road.Kid-friendliness: Lots of things to see. Interesting metal art pieces and walking paths. This is a great place to visit, especially when you're traveling. Get out, have some ice cream and take a break, take a walk through the woods. There's a dog park and everything.

Wow!! This ice cream place gets a lot of business in the summer time. The lines are so long, sometimes you have to wait about 30 minutes just to order your ice cream. BUT, it's so worth the wait.! They have tables and chairs you can sit and wait for your orders. And a little path that you can walk down to look around. The place this really cute and clean area. This summer if you have time, you should stop by and try their ice cream. They have all different kinds of yummies!!! Enjoy!!

Definitely recommend trying this spot out. Great ice creams and other items. They have a huge list of flavors and each one that I've ever had is fantastic. Can get busy at times but worth the wait. I can remember playing baseball in elementary and middle school and getting my parents to stop by here after a game was a real treat. Highly encourage everybody to try scoops when coming through Mount Airy.

They serve Mayfield ice cream and they have so many choices. I like the ice cream flight because you can taste 4 different flavors at once.

Earlier this year we spotted this place but there were sooo many people so we passed it by. This go around there were a few cars and so glad we did. A perfect place to stop after a nice bike ride on the New River Trail. So much to choose from. Great price, Nice Serving size and some good ice cream!
