It was our first time eating here. It was cold inside! I ordered a vegetarian burger made of beans. I must say it was delicious! Just a little less goat cheese for the sandwich would have been better, and I love goat cheese! My husband burger was good...he was expecting better. They are a little lite on the sides also. I think I had maybe 6 tater tots.

The only problem was they were short staffed like everywhere else you go so I didn't take a star away but it took about an hour to get three burgers. But I believe the problem there was I think everybody came to eat at the same
With a limited menu I would expect all items to be available. No wings and it seemed like they had been out for a while. And it would have been nice to know upfront. Otherwise the food was good.Wheelchair accessibility: There is an elevator.

It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either. Overall, for our experience it was just okay. The restaurant itself is cute and cozy, seating is MINIMAL, so larger parties take up a lot of space and will also have a longer wait time due to lack of space. The decor is cute We happily waited down stairs near the door for about 45 mins because we had a party of 8. The menu is pretty limited, not a large variety or selection. Everyone ended up ordering burgers, they seemed to be the best choice and most varied item. Our server was amazing came over within mins of us sitting down, made sure our drinks were never empty, went over our order to make sure everything was right and was very attentive to all of her tables..... here's the bad. We ordered our food as soon as she came back with our drinks because we already knew what we wanted, after waiting 45 mins to be seated. Again a party of 8 everyone ordered burgers, sides were either fries, tots or S.P fries. It took over an hour for our food to come out. Which was pretty frustrating because there were other tables that had sat down and ordered well after us and got their food before our table. It also was not completely full, so it was puzzling as to why it took so long. The sweet potato fries, which are an upcharge, were all burnt. Not just a little over done, they were burnt, so much so that before the runner even left the table everyone who had them asked for a different side. Normally if it's just a couple I would pick them out and not fuss but if I am paying an upcharge and it's burnt for multiple plates, I can't not say something. We did get regular fries or tots very quickly and the server apologized and took the up charges off the ticket. The burgers across the table were just OK to everyone. They were all cooked well done, and we realized we weren't asked how we wanted them cooked. I'm pretty certain everyone in my family orderes medium to medium well but never well done. Everyone ate half or most of their burgers because at this point everyone was starving and didn't want to send anything back to wait even longer.So again overall just okay. I don't think we would go back when we make the trip up there again.

The Loaded Goat was loaded with people and a very long wait time. Would not expect to wait over an hour to get a burger. Hoping this isn't their normal service. Nice selection of burgers. Food was good once it finally arrived. Many televisions available. It's hard to say what this restaurant is really trying to be when you look at the decor. The dynamite burger was definitely hot, got a small portion of fries with it which I think were counted out. Not impressed.

My husband were in town to celebrate his birthday and this was one of the first stops on our trip, I got "The Goat" burger and it's probably one of the best burgers I've ever had, perfectly cooked and seasoned and I'd never had goat cheese before but now I think I've been missing out. We would definitely eat here again on a future trip to Mt. Airy. We didn't have a wait to be seated and the food was delivered really fast.

We absolutely enjoyed our experience at The Loaded Goat. Unfortunately we did not get any pictures. Everything from the Friendly service to the cleanliness. Very cozy comfortable atmosphere from walking in the door, heading up the satirs(they do have an elevator) to the big spacious dining room and bar area. They have a great variety or drinks, burgers and appetizers. Along with a few other options as well. We will definitely be stopping in again our next trip back to Mount Airy, NC.
