Nicest staff ever! We were cold sitting on the deck upstairs and the hostesses were so nice about us asking to move spots. The service was phenomenal, our waitress was super sweet, and the food was incredible. We will definitely be back again next year! Also, the Creamsicle Crush was one of the best drinks I ever had.

So disappointed! We have been down here seasonally for a few years. Since there are only a handful of restaurants/bars where you can see the ocean we were excited to try this place out. It was raining a bit, not much and we headed upstairs to the outside bar. Bartender seemed very grumpy when we asked if it was OK to sit at the bar for dinner and drinks. They mumbled something about closing and recommended we go inside to the 2nd floor bar. We were already there, even though we wanted to sit outside, we also wanted to eat & drink. We head in and there are 2 guys sitting at the bar and a female/employee (we didn't realize was an employee) standing next to them on their phone. No one acknowledged us. We were there 15 min and no one greeted us or came to get our order. We get up and leave and the employee, who was on their phone asks if anyone had waited on us. They saw us, or rather their phone, and knew no one had taken care of us. She is now worried about getting someone to help us. Too late! We proceed to exit past the 3rd floor bar and others have sat there since we were waiting inside so long. I asked the bartender if they are closing and they again mumbled something and followed with "I don't make that decision". I then asked why he ran us off into the inside bar, where no one served us. His response was that they did not run us off. He did! We had heard good things about this place, but certainly didn't get to experience any of them!

First time in the Outer Banks, listen to all the locals for advice, we did. Stop!! Dont pass go don't collect 200 dollars!! Dont go anywhere else Mulligans is the place for great food, service and a reasonable price. Had Haley for a waitress couldn't ask for a more personable, sweetheart for a server. Came all the way from Michigan. Tried the best as so was told. Want a great experience, Mulligans is the place hands down!! If I could have rated the place 10 stars I would!!!

Exactly what you want from a beach grill. Good fresh options, friendly staff and lots of space for capacity. As a local, this is definitely one of my favorite off-season locations. They have a local discount also, which is helpful.I've been multiple times and I believe that the Caesar salad here is among the best on the island. Would definitely recommend it to anyone. Also they recycle their oyster shells, which is really great for the environment. Thanks to the North Carolina Coastal foundation for being so wonderful.

First time dining at Mulligan's and we will definitely be back! Ate outdoors and enjoyed a beautiful view of the sunset over Jockey's Ridge and the ocean! Bisque soup was perfect temp and delicious. Tater tachos tasty. Main dishes fried oysters and Coconut shrimp were plentiful, not greasy and so gpod! Service was friendly and prompt. We enjoyed our conversation with our waiter Ygor. Such a delightful young man! Our evening was so enjoyable! Highly recommend!

The food was very good. But portions were small. Shrimp was a little over spiced and hard to peel. Other than that a very good eating experience.

Food was delicious, service was sub par. Specifically asked for table downstairs at check in due to my wife and mother having bad knees. When they called us for a table they put us upstairs, we made it but not what I wanted. Server Claire started off ok but spent most of her time at other end of upstairs talking to friends? Not sure who they were. It got so bad and one point we needed boxes, water, check and she was sitting at table not paying any attention to her tables. The other waitresses got us a box and my wife had to walk down and get in her face to get her attention to get our check. One of her other tables got up and got there own to go box. We sat at the table for around 10 to 15 minutes with empty plates waiting for her to come down. I usually don’t leave reviews about service as I run restaurants in Delaware but this was in called for. I know people have “off” nights and I would get it if she was in the weeds but this was not the case. If I was manager I would want to know these things. Great food poor service.
