We didnt get the owners name but she was sooo friendly and the food was absolutely AMAZING! My husband and I tasted it as soon as we got back in the car and it barely made it home with us. It just makes you feel good! We recently moved back to the area and are super glad to now have a delicious goto spot on the weekend! Thanks for such good eating! ❤️

Some of the best food I’ve ever had in my life! I’m so used to eating here every weekend, I’m already craving it when I wake up on Fridays! Some of my best plates are the pot roast or the WINGS! Me and my wife ordered 2 plates and let me say there is not a restaurant in NC that can compare with the taste or quality of the food prepared here. Every single thing I mean entree to the sides has its own unique and wonderful taste. This is hands down the best restaurant in Eastern NC

I have No Words.. other than MMMMM MMMMMM Fantastic! Absolutely Loved everything I had.. Pot roast, Corn, Cabbage and Mac n' Cheese.. Sooo yummy.. and I'm from the north.. The Chef sure Loves what they do.. You can Taste the Care and Love they put into their meals.. I'm hoping to have dinner from them tonight too. :D Thank you for This Wonderful Place.

Today, I ate here for the first time. THE SERVICE was friendly and professional. I had Ribs, greens, Mac and Cheese, and corn. It was a meal that took me back 45+years. DELICIOUS is the only way to explain the taste. It was a meal that made me feel wonderful. If you like southern cooking. GO THERE!! You will thank yourself after you eat.

We had baked chicken over rice, Collards, mac & cheese, and sweet potato fluff ? and a little pot roast for $10.00 per plate.The food was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. We are from out of town and we will be back to visit this place. Too bad it's only take out but we are ok with it.

DELICIOUS! Best southern soul food I've ever had. I got the oxtail plate with rice, baked Mac n cheese, sweet potato fluff, and collards. I also got banana pudding. I wish I had two stomachs just so I could eat it twice.
