Group of 6. Delicious fresh sandwiches. The tots were ok and could have been cooked a little more. Different to have them flattened. But overall everything was delicious! The server had problems with his tablet working today, and it took his quite a while to check us out, but these things happen. We were not in a rush since it's Sunday. Overall everything was delicious!
Happy New Year's eve! What a great experience! Stopped in Newbern for lunch on the waterfront, beautiful space. Our waitress Ina was awesome and very attentive. Food was fresh and delicious. Side salad. Unbelievable--best side salad ever! Parmesan ranch dressing like all their dressings are made in the house and marvelous. Good Ice-T. We had quick service, excellent food, just a wonderful place to stop for lunch on New Year's Eve or any day of the year!
So good, had the Tryon's Choice sandwich "all the way" and it's probably one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Service was great, good amount of seating.

Every server we've had is great, the ambiance is relaxing and the sandwiches and sides are amazing! Be sure to try the pimento cheese grilled sandwich and add bacon and tomato. And the smashed tots loaded are so good!

As an older employee she should have the experience to.know how to treat customers so that they want to tip well. Instead she put a 25% tip on each bill though we were not a large enough group.

The food was very good, however, the server we had was horrible. She had an attitude from the minute we were seated. No one in our party was rude or disrespectful to her because there was no need to be. When a member of our party ordered soup and a sandwich, stating the sandwich was to be shared between herself and another member of our party, the server stated “Well, I hope you can figure out how you’re going to pay for it”. She forgot to bring this same member of our party her soup. After waiting for approximately 15-20 mins the server was told to not worry about bringing the soup, (we were told it was taking so long due to they had run out and needed to heat up more b/c they did not have. Microwave),as we had all finished our lunches, she shook her head and mumbled under her breath as she was removing the soup from the bill. We were a party of 7 and the receipt stated for parties of 8 or more a 25% gratuity would automatically be added. Our receipts all had a 25% gratuity automatically added. I would have left this server a tip but never would have left her 25%. Again, the food was very good.
