Ordered some pizza and wings was told it would be a 25ish minute wait. I waited 45 minutes (which I don’t really mind) but the pizza and wings were ice cold by the time the lady in the front went to check. She didnt even check the first time when I arrived to pick it up and she said it would be an additional five minutes which turned into 30. Never again. Definitely not worth the almost $50 spent.

This is THE pizza place, if anyone I know wants pizza, I take them here. NY style pizza, garlic knots, gelato, everything here is on point. If you want a steaming cold mt dew(yes, the sodas so cold it sublimates), and steaming hot pizza, this is the place.

Not sure what happened, but my pizza smelled like chlorine and tasted like a backyard swimming pool. Felt like it was doused in chemicals. Ordered takeout on 2/24.

We frequent Mario’s quite often. Love the thin crust pizza, and the original cheesesteak!We usually order a large, extra crispy, cut in squares pizza. Before these last few visits, there wasn’t an issue with our request. ButThe last 5 or so times we’ve been there, our request gets ignored. It’s kinda hard to pick up a slice of pizza when it’s as large as it is without it folding over and all the cheese and toppings falling off. Hence that’s why we ask for it to be cut In squares.We went in last night, Wednesday 2/20, we asked for Neil, and he came to front while we ordered it. He said he would make sure they cut it in squares.Once again, it was not. They always cut it regular, and when we mention it should’ve been cut in squares, they cut it “in squares” and we have so many tiny mis-shapes of pizza . No biggie we ate it.BUT how hard is it to read the ticket that the cashier writes our order on? She literally wrote CUT IN (square) draws a square.Just have to share my experience In Hopes the owner will read this and respond.
Awesome pizza! People working there are awesome as well! Crust was perfect. Slices served nice and hot. Highly recommend.

Small pizzeria experience. The pizza was excellent. If I lived in New Bern, I might come back more often, but I don't. Definitely recommend Mario's for a bite to eat. Not the best I've ever had, but, I wouldn't count this place out! It really is good.

Great pizza probably best in New Bern. But I ordered a grilled chicken Ceasars salad and there was literally 4 small thin over cooked pieces of chicken (not even a full chicken breast) 50 croutons and a small package of dressing.
Food and service was amazing!! Will definitely be coming
