Best view in New Bern.I recommend going for drinks on the deck. The food is hit or miss so I usually go somewhere else to dine. The portions are getting smaller and smaller, too. I love the views so I frequent for the drinks and views!

Nice location with a fun atmosphere and great views. I recently stopped here for lunch while traveling through the New Bern area and was pleasantly surprised at both the quality, quantity, and the atmosphere of this restaurant. If you are traveling through or near the New Bern area I would definitely recommend stopping at this restaurant for a quick bite to eat.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in New Bern! Every year we visit we make it a point to come here… reservations are best. It did take a while this time to have our drinks served, but other than that another perfect dinner (and great views too)! (Drink is a Brandy Alexander).

We have been here before and loved it. This time was different. Staff was very pleasant and attentive. The food was not good, and I'm being kind. Started with black-eyed pea hummus because they were out of brussel sprouts. Hummus was ok but it had an intense heat that honestly tasted like they used pepper spray rather than cayenne. Linguini and clams was dry and bitter. No taste of herbs or white wine sauce - obviously microwaved. Wife's salad was also full of garlic and not to her liking. Daughters chicken sandwich was soggy and the chicken looked boiled, not grilled. I'm hoping this was just a bad night because we really did like this place.Parking: marked spaces and open grass area

We came here 2 years ago and were thoroughly disappointed. When our son gave us a gift card here for Christmas, we were like "oh no". Well, we ate here today (4/16) mid afternoon and boy were we surprised. The service was EXCELLENT, the food was not only fresh, but great. We started with the Vegan French Dip (not realizing it was an entree), my wife ordered the fish and chips which was perfect, lightly battered and very tasty, and I had the Carolina Cobb Salad. Beautifully presented and almost as if they had picked the ingredients fresh from the garden. We were impressed. I think we have found a new favorite place, and right on the water to boot.

We were extremely happy to find such a lovely option for dinner in New Bern. Our food was excellent. We had perfectly cooked fish, crispy fries, and wonderful pastry. An example of a lot of things done very well. The cocktail menu was clever with literary referenced drinks and very interesting combinations. We are only staying two days, but we are planning to come back for our second night!

Great place to pop in and grab lunch or come by for dinner with family. There are several ways to enjoy this place but the best is warm weather out on the patio looking out over the water.

The place was beautiful with the view of the water. I wouldn’t use the bathroom because it was disgusting. I got the crab cake and garlic fries. The crab cakes were good with the jumbo linkup crabmeat. I wasn’t that crazy about the fries it definitely tasted like it was missing something. The employees came across snooty but I guess that is normal for a place like this.Parking: Plenty of parking with a beautiful view.Kid-friendliness: Older kids for sure.

Great food & atmosphere. Only bad part, ordered the pear salad, received Ceasar salad and told waitress who insisted it was the pear salad. So instead of raising a stink I just ate it, but when she came back around I told her it sure tasted like Caesar. When she brought the bill I half expected to be comped the salad, however was charged $14.00 for the Caesar salad which was small and an addition to a $32 meal! Also ordered a side of Brussel sprouts which showed as $8 on the menu, but was charged for the full price appetizer Brussel sprouts. I didn't notice all this because my elderly mom insisted on getting our meal, I noticed it on our receipt later when we got home. So my advice, double check you bill before paying.

Fish and chips on menu said (grouper), ended up being dry Mahi that was told to us after i complained about it. Steak was raw at the request of medium. Mac and cheese had no flavor and pasta overcooked. Very disappointed. Will not return except to have drinks on the deck.
