Saturday Got here at 1130 am and at 1215 they came out and said they had no biscuits Several other tables sat after us had already gotten their meals. It’s called the country BISCUIT. And they runout of biscuits??? Michelle I read your response and that does not explain a 45 minute wait for food.

I have been coming to the country biscuit for years. The past few times I have been, I have been slightly underwhelmed, but today was the worst experience by far. This establishment is definitely catered towards older people, but I wish the employees would not dismiss younger individuals. When we walked in, we were told to seat ourselves. It took about 5 minutes for the waitress to come and get our drink order (perfectly reasonable). Our waitress came back with the drinks and then proceeded to take our order (a single order of sausage and gravy biscuits, and a jumbo open faced pork tenderloin biscuit). About 20 minutes later, our order came out. The “jumbo” pork tenderloin biscuit barely had any meat, and the meat was tough. The sausage gravy biscuit was excellent. There was so much extra gravy that we decided we wanted another biscuit to slop it up with! However, 25 minutes pass without a sight of our waitress. No refills, no checkups. There were other waitresses near us that saw we were looking for our waitress and said nothing. We ended up going to the counter to pay, since our bill was never brought to us. We left without a refill and without an extra biscuit. We will be back, as I hope this was just an off day, but we were not satisfied today.

The tenderloin biscuit has been on the menu for 45 years. My husband got that dish. I got the bacon egg cheese biscuit it was really big, I couldn't eat it all. It seems to be like a homemade country atmosphere, a small restaurant. Everyone knows the regulars there, and they make biscuit donuts.
