First time trying Honey Baked Ham. Upon entering, I thought the place was closed, as there was absolutely no one around. A few seconds later, an employee comes out. Upon my ordering, I asked a question about the preparation of the sliders. I was greeted with a look of "disgust", to say the least. I requested if we could have our sandwiches not drizzled on the outside with the sauce, due to us driving. I was given this answer, with a tone, mind you, "Then, I suggest you get a different sandwich since you're driving as the one you want will be messy." A different sandwich is exactly what we did! We left HBH and went to Bisquitville. Now, the employee/manager is probably right about the sandwich we wanted. However, her approach could have been better. May I suggest a different sandwich...or something to this effect is what she could have said. She was rude and I left. Definitely NOT a people person. At least with me, anyway.

My Honey Baked Ham, which I picked up on 3/29/2024 in New Bern, NC, was loaded with fat. Had to throw away at least a third of the 8-1/2 half pound ham. Pure fat! Disgusting. My family and my guests were deeply disappointed. Will never buy another one!

What a horrible experience. Pre-ordered our ham for Thanksgiving and the owner informed his employer to not turn any sales away this morning so all our orders were sold leaving a line for hours. And the person that was glazing the hams in the back was not even an employee of the company. Not the way to run a business for sure.

The owner decided to sell everyone’s reservation for thanksgiving leaving a line taking hours to fulfill and lining out the door for people who pre paid over a week ago. I would stay away from this establishment when it comes to thanksgiving you may not be able to get what YOU already paid for because the owner saw fit to sell YOUR and everyone else’s food.

The employee made a food delivery driver wait until she had prepared brand new orders for a whole bunch of us customers who walked in after him. He was told he would have to wait until she was done with all of us. If my order had been just for me I would have left. It was gross. This guy is out here trying to make a living and she didn't care how long he had to wait. I won't go in again. It was really rude.

First they could not find my order, then when I found the email confirmation they told me all but one of my sides was out of stock that I preordered. Customer service there is awful. Not sure the point to preorder a meal for a holiday to not have the meal or a phone call from a business saying a large portion of it is out of stock.Did pick up a glazed ham that was inedible. Photo included. I would think twice before ordering from them.

Chicken salad was good enough but the portion for $10 was paltry. Also, ask for Toasted bread, sandwich was ice cold and not on toast.

Ordered a quarter ham with a bone for Christmas dinner and it was probably the best ham I've ever had. The instructions say to serve at room temp but I poured some water on it and heated up for about 30 mins. It was my first time in and the sandwiches look great. It's a very casual, looks good for lunch.

i have never in 70 years had a ham like this, three days later and the wife and i are still eating it. i would love to know their cooking process and how it came out so tender and juicy. i will be back only just to give turkeys a rest.

Called to reserve a ham on Tuesday afternoon, young lady that took my call would not allow me to make a reservation because she said there were plenty so they were not allowed to reserve hams. Today same girl refused to sell me a ham because I didn't have a reservation that she would not allow me to make. When I explained I tried to the reservation she said too bad that was yesterday. Wish I could give less than one star for service. Called to speak to a manager but the phone was not answered

This place has good food. Honey baked hams are delicious!!! BUT, it is way overpriced, especially for their small portion size! If you want to over pay for a small amount of food, this place is for you!
