Outer Banks Boil Company provided us with a fantastic catered boil at the beach house we rented on Oak Island. The manager Josh was great to work with and Lynn our caterer and boil chef was fantasitic! The quaility and quantity of the boil was exceptional...They bring everything you need...cook it on the property, serve it and clean up everything when you are done! We will definitely call on them again when we are back in Oak Island!

We had a couples wedding shower for my daughter and her fiance (who live in the OBX) so it was only fitting that we had the Outer Banks Boil Company Oak Island cater with their classic boil. Josh was on time, did his own set up, cooking, clean up and made it so easy - as in no work for me! He even did a special pot for our guest with a shellfish allergy. The food was fantastic with huge local shrimp and portions were plentiful! Whether you pick up pots for a small group or have them cater your large group - this is a sure crowd pleaser and we highly recommend!Dietary restrictions: They offer a no-shellfish option.

Had hoped to experience dining take-out here on our last few evenings of vacation... Discussed with the family throughout the day to experience something different.. Finally decided on a couple 'pots' everyone could agree on...Placed a call to order.."No answer...again..No answer..Again..No answer"Thinking they may just be busy...tried one last time."Hello..?" Not a business greeting. Thought I had the wrong number. So, I asked "Is this the OBBCompany?""Yup...we're closed. Calls are forwarded to this phone".Link to Website CLEARLY stated open from 12-7pm..Major let down and disappointment.Kinda makes a person question what other information could be wrong...I never write reviews...but this was a bit heartbreaking having coaxed my family all day to give this a try..If you're gonna answer the phone listed online...be professional.

Josh and his lovely assistant catered dinner for 10. It was the day after Thanksgiving. They were prompt, efficient and made dinner so easy! The food was delicious! Even cleanup was handled well. I will DEFINITELY use the Outer Banks Boil Company!

This is great. Last Friday we got the Ben Franklin (shrimp, clams, crab legs) for two to celebrate my wife's birthday. It was great. Plus they threw in some extra clams and some mussels for good measure. Extremely easy to prepare. Just follow the instructions that they hand to you when you pick up the pot. We have already promised ourselves to do it again.

Stopped by the Outer Banks Boil Company’s tent at the NC Oyster Festival today. What a treat! Excellent seafood boil with the shrimp, sausage, potatoes, and corn done to perfection. And the staff are the friendliest in the world. I told my husband that it is a good thing we don’t live close to Oak Island or we would be eating out from there all the time. Lynn came to our beach house in Holden Beach for my father in laws birthday, and with his personality, skill with the boil, and the general ease and seamless way he fit in with us, we couldn't ask for a better experience. He could have been unobtrusive, or the center of attention, he read the room and was as personable as could be. We'll request him for the next time, 100%.

Outer Banks Boil Company was awesome! I own a gym in Raleigh, NC and we bring a large group to the beach for a fitness retreat every summer. The low country boil from Outer Banks Boil Company was delicious and not having to cook it, clean it, or worry about it in the slightest was outstanding. The guy that came out to do it for us was very friendly, funny, and accommodating. I also had several phone conversations with the owner who was very pleasant and professional as well. I highly recommend them and will use them again!

We just experienced our "boil" from Outer Banks Boil Company and we couldn't be more please. Josh was most helpful when "building " our pot. We were entertaining former sailors who frequently enjoyed fall clambakes. This boil was easy to heat and serve and the table presentation allowed for a very casual experience as well as spirited conversation. Clean up was an easy task! Don't hesitate to give them a try.
