The Ridge is one of the best seafood restaurants I have ever had the privilege of enjoying. Consistently good and well prepared selections. Great service from a knowledgeable and helpful staff. Inviting and comfortable atmosphere that is friendly and informal. Well worth the drive from anywhere in the Triad, or beyond. Oh, and those hushpuppies ! !

Absolutely no better fish and value anywhere... not just Guilford County. Had the potato crusted grouper that you would swear was fried but baked!! Crispier and delicious and these guys know how to buy fresh fish that is at the top of the food chain. And no question this is the largest portion anywhere. Had tarter and drawn butter to try and both worked very well... and as an aside best cole slaw and hush puppies around. Better than anything I get at the North and South Carolina beaches!! Incredible values and I drive 25 minutes to get there because it is worth it!!Kudos!!

I am shrimply over the half shell (hehe) that I finally got out to try Ridge! It was absolutely phenomenal. Everything from the service to the most amazing dessert I've ever had in my entire life. We came in for dinner on Saturday evening for my mom's birthday during prime dinner time. It was quite busy, but we somehow got three spots right at the bar! They offer a big selection of wine and beer, and a large (but not overwhelmingly large!) food menu. I had the Southern Fried Catfish, with grits, grilled squash/zucchini and a cup of the Caribbean Seafood Chowder. My dad ordered Shrimp Scampi, and my mom a 1/2 lb of Fried Shrimp. Everything was very good! Huge portions. The chowder was out of this world! The seasoning was on point. Now y'all, I don't take this lightly. The Banana Bread Pudding was hands down THE most delicious dessert I've ever had in my entirety. SERIOUSLY. It is outstanding. The bits of creme brulee baked into the bread, topped with ice cream and a drizzle of caramel. I will go back there just for that if nothing else (but will definitely be back for other things!). Mondays they have fried flounder and a side for $15.95 and Tuesdays 1/2 price fried shrimp. Last but certainly not least, I want to say how friendly the staff are. Lynne is the best ever! She gave great recommendations, is super knowledgeable of the menu, and attentive but not overbearing. Emma was so sweet, too, and it was great to chat with the owners. Ridge is must try dining option in the area, especially when you're craving seafood, but I hear their burgers are also top notch!

Oak Ridge is fortunate to have a seafood restaurant of this quality operated by seasoned restauranteurs. Food quality, service, and value are top notch. Low key bar favorites available. Small dining room expands to some outdoor availability depending on weather. Pleasant waitstaff dialed in on customer service.

My wife and I ate here during our time house sitting for my in laws. We went on a whim and were very pleasantly surprised. It became our favorite place to eat in the area. We loved everything we had. We also liked that the food is fresh and sourced locally. The fish and grits were amazing. The grits were creamy and decadent, and the fish was fried to perfection. My wife is a crab dip connoisseur. She can be serious about it. She loved it. The oysters were fresh and tasty and the shrimp was amazing. The desert was also delicious. We liked it so much, we ordered to go the next day. The service was also great. We chatted with our server and she made recommendations. She was friendly and helpful. We also chatted with regulars, who gave recommendations and high reviews. If you have not been, I highly recommend going asap.

I found my new sea food restaurant. Some of the best oysters I've had in a long time.
We started with crab dip. My wife had their half price fried shrimp. I had mussels in garlic wine broth, served with a mini French loaf for dipping. All the food was excellent, wife said shrimp was best she has ever had. Service was very good. My only knock is that coleslaw and hush puppies do not come with meal. You have to pick them as a side or buy separately.
