“We have been getting coffee from here for years and it's the best! We first tried some when given a Christmas gift from Mcneely companies and we have been getting it ever since! Great to have somewhere so close that makes great coffee!”

“Excellent sushi! As a former restaurant inspector, I was always very impressed with how the staff at Sora handled their fish and this restaurant is one of the very few I order sushi from. The owners are extremely conscientious in maintaining food of excellent quality. Han is the main sushi chef and is always creating delicious combinations and special rolls. My husband loves both the beef and chicken basil. We've been dining here for almost 10 years and have always had excellent meals at Sora. We highly recommend it.”

“I love to camp and around Brevard is a great place, but I also like good coffee which I haven't figured out how to make in a campground. Stopped in here with my daughter and both of us had the best coffee we could remember. I had the Americana / coffee and she had the dirty chai. Pup cups for the dogs of course... Came back the next day for two different drinks and they were awesome as well.Seems like there can be a bit of a wait during the peak morning rush but it doesn't last long and it's well worth the wait anyway.Hopefully I'm not messing up the ranking by giving only four stars... especially when I'm not sure what to improve, but I'm a tough grader so don't let that throw you, it's great coffee. Almost forgot! she gave us some great tips for vegan food in Asheville and a couple of cool places to check out in the area as well. Now I really feel like a jerk for only giving four stars!”

“What an odd, unique, but fairly good experience.This is a British/Indian bar/restaurant serving Indian/American pub food. There are lots of forward slashes there. That's because it was an odd Mashup of a place.The clientele was also an odd mash-up of people. From bikers (engine) to cyclists (pedal) to out of towners and townies.The food was actually quite good. I stuck with the Indian cuisine part of the menu. The service was so-so, as they seemed lost behind the bar.They also overcharged me. They were so lost behind the scenes that I didn't feel that it was worth the effort to get back 10 bucks. Hey, I am still giving them 4 stars.Ride in, and check it out.”

“I love El Chapala. I've been dining here for years. The service and the food is extremely consistent. Really love it. It's what you expect out of a local Mexican restaurant, but done REALLY well. The owners and staff are always SO friendly and the food has never disappointed. I lived in Brevard for many years and frequented El Chapala. And now when I visit family we usually end up here. Always fun and solid!!”

“I drive past this spot several times a week, but had never tried it. We had a delicious dinner and enjoyed ourselves despite one obnoxiously loud patron (totally not the restaurant’s fault.) The flatbread was yummy and nicely plated and the breakfast burger was delightfully decadent. We really enjoyed the guitarist. The setting is pastoral, and I’m sure gorgeous in the Spring. Wine seemed a bit pricey. We will definitely try this place again.Vegetarian options: There were some vegetarian options.Kid-friendliness: I would not consider this place kid-friendly based on our first visit.”

“Been a fan for ever….. but yesterday I got a triple scoop of coffee and cookies n cream….. and it was covered with some watery blue substance - I asked nicely to have it replaced and the young man scraped some of the blue and some of the ice cream off of it and handed it back with a “humpf” …..really?…… when I asked for a refund , he pushed six dollars of my $6.75 back at me with another “humpf”….. REALLY?”

“Unfortunately, all food is expensive these days. That the inside this is a great barbecue stop in Brevard North Carolina. They have a lunch special that is very reasonable and a nice portion size.”

“The best Subway sanwich that I've ever ate. Tried to call the Subway back to tell them how happy I was with the sandwich but recording came on that number was wrong or disconnected.”

“They were a little busy but many of the servers were chatting with tables and we were on a schedule of 2 hours and had to hurry up and eat the food because of this. The food was great will go back again and if the service is better next time I will change it to 5 stars.”

“Fast foods only as good as your last experience, mine was exceptional. Despite them being short staffed, training a new employee and getting a huge after lunch rush. “I don't usually go out to a coffee cafe, but had a work meeting scheduled here. Everything is so expensive to me these days, so maybe I'm not a good judge of pricing. That's why I gave 4 stars as it seemed expensive to me for a smoothie. Maybe that's why I make my coffee and smoothies at home. I've never had a "starbucks" in my life, so I have nothing to compare it to. Sorry.”

“My husband & I stayed here to celebrate our Anniversary. From start to end the experienced was above & beyond. We stayed in the Salon Spa Moon loft. The room was beautiful & communal space was very inviting. The grounds themselves were lovely with the most beautiful sunsets to see. We ate at the Silo Restaurant for dinner & brunch and cannot speak highly enough of how wonderful the food & service was. Tina the bartender was a gem who took care of us. We had a couples massage, highly recommended if you are willing to splurge. The attention to detail that goes into staying here is well noted. You will not be disappointed if you stay here & are looking for a unique experience compared to a boring hotel. My biggest regret was not packing a swimsuit to enjoy the outdoor pool! Thank you to the Horse Shoe Farm for a wonderful stay!”

“I love stumbling upon a new (to me) find. I was driving down the road, and this tiny Mercado in a strip center caught my attention. Little did I know that it had a wonderful Taqueria joint attached to it. They had an extensive menu. Home-made tortillas? Yup! The meat ranged from the normal gringo styles (chicken and beef), to lengua, birria, and others.My server spoke very little english, but it didn't matter. She was nice and helpful. It seems like the shop next door serves the local Hispanic members of the community. This was a fantastic find!”

“This place in my opinion is the best of Brevard. The service is impeccable , the French inspired food is served in large portions, at a nominal cost. The chef is French, so that explains why the food is so good, do not pass up the opportunity to eat here, make reservations.”

“Idk why we waited so long to try this place. Best BBQ I've had around here. We had the special which wad a smoked bologna sandwich 10/10. We also had the brisket mac-n-cheese 10/10 and the smoked wings 10/10. Highly recommend if you have an urge for some delicious smoked ”

“We visited this brewery during our week long trip to Pisgah with our two German shorthair pointers. Our hike was rained out, though we attempted it anyway. After aborting the hike due to weather, we decided to look for a place to get a mid-day beer. We looked at a couple breweries, even drove to Sierra Nevada Brewery. SN was disappointing since their outdoor area was not covered nor open for service apparently. We then went to Burning Blush to check it out. This was also one of few places open at noon (and it was a weekday). Lucky for us, they allow pups inside, which was a plus given the weather. The place was quiet but as I said, was a weekday with terrible weather. The beers were great, the food truck was amazing, and the staff were very kind. They gave our pups a few biscuits (which they loved). My dogs are my kids, so I'm happy to have found this place! Def recommend if traveling with furry friends! We would 100% go back when we are in the area again. THANK YOU FOR YOUR KINDNESS TO OUR POINTERS!”

“I met a friend here for ice-cream a couple of weeks ago. The staff was extremely friendly, professional, courteous and kind. The ice-cream was nice and cold and sooo yummy. There is no inside dining, as it is an ice-cream stand. They have picnic tables to sit at and one could always eat in their car. They have a drive up window for ordering as well. I had such a wonderful time and look forward to going back. If you find yourself in Etowah, or passing through, I highly recommend you consider stopping in for something. They also have food items too. Based on my positive experience, I highly recommend.”
