Since my wife (born in Oahu) and I moved here from the West Coast, we've been trying to find classic Hawaiian food. One would think it would be great here in NC, with all the excellent cows and pigs available, but no, it's been non-existent or almost inedible dry meat and tasteless rice. This small little restaurant occupies part of a car wash building on the corner of 87 & West Street, so it's all takeout or sitting at the few outside tables. They staff is friendly and the service speedy. I have seen lines though sometimes when driving by. I went by after work and meat was still nice and warm when I arrived home 20 minutes later. This place is wonderful! Highly recommend. My favorite is their meatballs… delicious!
