A small town local bakery that’s doing it right. Thus far we’ve been here twice, I can only imagine we’ll become regulars.We stumbled upon this bakery while at the hardware store. There’s always a great selection of various cupcakes and desserts… where can you go wrong? Welp, you go wrong by only getting one of things ?We had a gathering last minute on a Saturday so I found myself at the bakery getting several cupcake flavors, cinnamon rolls, oatmeal cream pies and cookies… took them home and made a ‘chartreuse dessert board’ of sorts, so we could all sample a little of each. I must say you won’t be disappointed.My top selections… the cinnamon rolls are huge and if you warm them for 10 seconds in the microwave, welp my husband and I negotiated over who’d get the last piece haha.The cupcakes were all great but the sparking champagne cranberry or something like that was a winner by the crowd. The eggnog cupcake was a close second and the first eggnog dessert that’s hit the mark (imo), but all that to say we got a mini Santa cake for Christmas dinner more out of novelty than anything…HOLY smokes, it was a delicious cake and icing. I’m not much of an icing person or sweets for the most part, usually a bite or two max… but I couldn’t get enough of the clean simple chocolate cake and not overly sweet or processed icing. Easily you taste the freshness.A little higher on pricing than a grocery bakery, but you’re paying for quality and a local business… easily worth it

Every time I visit, the desert and coffee never disappoint! The service is also great with everyone I've meet being so sweet. I have also ordered an event cake from here and the whole process was smooth.

Never going here again. I ordered a simple birthday cake and ended up waiting over an hour past when they said it would be ready. The owner did not care that it was late and never apologized, and then yelled at me for “pestering” her. Horrible service from an owner who clearly doesn’t care about their customers. The cake was dry and tasted horrible too. Do not order from here!!

I went there to pick up a cake for my friend and I was met with this nasty and wicked lady, she made it an experience to remember to say the least. Your better off making your own cake or buying one from Walmart , overpriced and trash

This place sucks if I could leave a 0 star I would, the management sucks and everytime I go here I never have a good time, next time leave ur customers happy and make them want too come back, instead I will be going somewhere else hoping ur business goes out of

Absolutely horrible business. Charged me close to $500 for a cake. The cake fell apart an hour before my kids party, because this "professional" baker didn't understand that if you make the top heavier than the bottom, it will collapse in on itself. To make matters worse instead of doing anything to fix it, I was offered $100 off my next purchase. Like why would I ever do business with you again? They ruined my kids birthday and threw salt on the wound. If you're looking for a cake, keep looking. Better yet, go to Publix. Small businesses like this will do everything in their power to not take accountability. And then complain no one supports them.... I wonder why??

Amazing macarons! My husband was in the local area for military training and brought home a bunch of different flavors for us to try. Looks like I will need to visit myself to try everything else!
By far the best thing about downtown Raeford for me! Everything my family has bought from Kayla has been lights out! The shop gets busy on event days downtown but it's a must if you can make it. This past thanksgiving I ordered a pumpkin pie and a cheesecake and can say they stole the show!! My kids were a little bummed we couldn't stop in for a New Years weekend treat but excited to see what Kayla has in store for 2024!

I purchased a slice of red velvet cake! I was greatly disappointed that I wasted my money. The cake was salty, Im not sure where that fits into the receipe. Maybe from the cocoa......who knows but it's over powering. The icing lacked the favor of cream cheese. The cake was moist at least. The packaging was great, comes in a cute little pink box. The 4 tier layers of cakes was a big bang for your bucks but the receipe needs to be revamped to be sellable.
