The servers were friendly but food took 45 minutes to come out and was awful quality when we finally got it. I wanted to come before they closed because I'd heard such great things but it was a terrible experience and I regret wasting my time and money here.

SERVICE/ATMOSPHERE:This place was lovely. All the staff were so sweet and helpful. Definitely a gem in downtown, great for a date or an intimate catch up with an old friend.FOOD:We started with the pimento cheese, local jam, and fig tostadas, which were INCREDIBLE!! A must have if you visit here.I got the portobello mushroom and avocado grilled cheese with tomato soup, which was okay. The cheese and avocado together were a bit heavy. My partner got the burger, which he said was awesome! He said the hand cut fries were very good.OVERALL:We had a lovely time. Shoutout to our server Dvir, impeccable vibes from him.

Do not give them your business. They choose who they deem acceptable to serve. We were ignored for half an hour as our server dropped off water and just left us sitting there. Other tables were seated and were able to order as we sat there. Our server wandered around and pointedly ignored us. We made a reservation to celebrate a birthday, and were treated like trash. As we walked out, all of the staff ignored us. They had no issues serving anyone else. I honestly don't know what their issue was, but they missed out on a sale and future business.

ordered roasted Carolina tomato soup, club 16 salad ( thought it would be their specialty), and ham and cheese cristo. soup was amazing. ham & cheese cristo was fine. just the salad was not very fresh with a little bit bad leafy there. I Do understand greeny deteriorate fast. service was great. they offrred a free salad after i had found bad leaves. great atmosphere. i guess it is a fantastic place to go to have a cup of drink after work.

Date night with my wife. The restaurant was clean and neat. From the online checking I thought this was a 'German' restaurant. It didn't meet my expectations. I ordered the most German food I could find on the menu, Brat and Ham with mashed potatoes and vegetable medley. There was about a 4" piece of bratwurst cut lengthwise so that it was effectively a half-piece. The other foods were reasonable portions. All food was cooked well, especially the vegetable medley (which can be hard to cook right). My wife ordered a salad with salmon on top. It was delicious. We shared an Apple Strudel which was delicious also.Overall cost was at least a bit high.Parking: The parking garage entrance doors lock automatically at 7:00 pm (in an effort to control crime?).
