Food has no seasonings! BLAND IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT! Lima beans straight out of can! Food was NOT hot! THIS IS WAS AND WILL ALWAYS BE A TRAGEDY AND A WASTE OF MONEY! DO NOT RECOMMEND! They brought out cold hush puppies to the table with land lakes butter cold! This was a tragedy! The drinks tasted as if they were using city water to make even the sodas! They are cutting too many corners! This is the worst seafood place I ever been too. Food tasted fishy which means it is not fresh! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE!

This restaurant is my mother in law’s favorite place to go for SEAFOOD!!! BTW…she will be 95years old in April.
Last month February 2024 the order was ok except the prices was too high for our meals. Our drinks was 3.50 each. The wait staff didn't assist us to order from senior menu which we were. Will not be driving from Durham to Raleigh anytime soon.

Took my wife and my kids for dinner we had some grilled fish and some fried fish , salmon, red snapper, shrimp and some appetisers. Food was the best sea food I had in the triangle area. Prices were very reasonable. The service was more than excellent. We will be back .

My mom absolutely loves this place especially the hushpuppies because they don't have any dairy so she can eat them. Only downside is the odd hours closing for 2 and a half hours in the middle of the day, huge disappointment when the family showed up to have a late lunch for moms birthday only to find out they're closed :(

I am not sure if the restaurant has new owners or what has happened. The food use to be Amazing! I have recommended this restaurant to so many. It’s normally packed on a Friday night but for the last two Fridays it has not been. The quality of the food has gone way down. The fish is not good and really fishy! The baked potato’s are so small. The portions have even gotten smaller. Hush puppies are very small as well and taste different almost burnt. Customer service is horrible. I mean they charge if you sneeze wrong. I asked for lemons I was charged normally they don’t charge. I asked for vinegar I was charged .25 for a pack of vinegar. Where are the old owners bring them back!
We had a group of nearly 30 each with different orders! The food was excellent. The staff was polite and professional. It was a great experience. Thank you so much! When back in the area we will come again.

I just ate at Captain Stanley's for the first time, but I hope it won't be the last. The decor isn't fancy; about what you'd expect from a seafood joint at the shore. My Calabash-style fried entree was excellent, and the prices were reasonable. My only complaint was that they don't seem to post their menu online. (Okay, I'm funny that way - when I go to a new restaurant I like to scope out my options ahead of time.)
