The food is fantastic and the staff are always very friendly. The burritos are HUGE and the chimichangas are big portions as well. Love the renovations since we were last there in November. Highly recommend. A+++

Finally found some authentic delicious Hispanic food. I just moved here from Florida, so I’m very excited about this place.

Do not recommend at all. Don’t even think about getting drinks here because it’s like asking for a cup of ice LOL. Do not come here to get drinks unless you would like to get robbed. The picture I’m attaching is a drink for $15 and mind you this is with ice melting for awhile..which is a complete JOKE. Also after I complained to the workers they went to the back and were gossiping about my complaint....SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!

LOVE this place. Great food, great vibes, love the renovation. Staff are all super attentive and nice. This slice of cake was HEAVEN. Order the cake. Ask for the cake. It's like a moist cake with a fluffy custard & would come back just for the cake.

Delicious Mexican food

Cocula Mexican Restaurant has very recently changed ownership. It is now Mariscos Nayarit. My family made plans to meet at Cocula last Saturday night. We were shocked to see that the name has changed. The menu is entirely different and the prices are higher. The menu was not the conventional Mexican we are accustomed to. LOTS of weird seafood dishes. The service was terrible. We were seated without menus. Someone in our party went to the hostess station (which was unattended) and got some menus. The server brought chips and thin watery salsa before taking our drink orders. We didn't even have napkins or eating utensils yet. Some of our orders were not correct. Even though there is a bar, I don't think it is in operation - no draught beef or mixed drinks. We asked for glasses for our beer but never received them. Despite all the cons, everyone thought their food tasted good.Cocula was our favorite Mexican restaurant and we are disappointed to see it closed. If it couldn't stay in business, I don't see how Mariscos has much chance of succeeding.

Cocula has sadly closed. The new name is Mariscos Nayarit. 90% of the menu is Mexican seafood. Tacos and other tex mex is not nearly at good as Cocula was.

Edit moving it down to a 1. I’m giving a 5 bc I’m sure it’s good however it’s not Cocula anymore but all Cocula info is still active. No vegan options, few vegetarian options.Got home with our in person turned to go (bc it took so long) and it was not even what I ordered.

If I could I would give this last visit a -10. Service is slow the menu is nothing like it was when it was Cocula. This will be the last visit to this restaurant. For the Last 2 years I have eaten every week at this location that will not happen anymore.
