If you're in Raleigh, NC, this restaurant is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you're treated like family. Having lived in Raleigh for the past five years, this place has been a go-to for me time and time again. Michelle, the owner, is the heart and soul of this establishment. Her warmth and care extend not only to her staff but also to every single customer who walks through the door.I can't count the number of times I've recommended this place to friends and family visiting from out of town, and every time, they leave just as impressed as I am. Whether it's the delicious food, the cozy atmosphere, or the exceptional service, this restaurant always delivers an unforgettable experience. If you're looking for a place to dine where you'll feel welcomed and appreciated, look no further. This restaurant is a true Raleigh treasure that I'll continue to support and recommend for years to come!

This place looked cute and had great reviews but the food was mid at best and the second it came out I knew this place was owned by a white person. There is a few signs saying “hide your cats” on the walls and tables and it’s honestly overtly racist and I can’t see it being anything else. Even if it’s their slogan…read the room. Our waiter was great but for how pricey it was I would much rather go to a ma and pa hole in the wall Asian place and get good quality authentic food.

I had a wonderful tasting meal at Five Star: the duck fried rice was delicious. The bartender that served us our meal was really sweet and gave me a great recommendation for this dish. Parking is difficult. The lot is crowded and tough to park in and you need to follow directions on the website to get free parking for 2 hours, because the entry staff seemed to know nothing about how to sign up for it. The restaurant is cramped for Friday night custom and sitting at a bar with TV's is not great atmosphere.

i felt I couldn’t really categorize this place. My spicy oil garlic noodles are very authentic Chinese flavor. Then black bean scallops shrimp tastes I think it tastes like Korean food. Then the whole restaurant it’s giving a bar vibe.I mean I feel really strange drinking a cocktail with my spicy noodle and I also wouldn’t drink a bottle beer here. So idk how to categorize this.I guess if I want to eat a Chinese noodle and my friends wants to eat pad Thai or drunken noodles this would be the place.

We love coming here and enjoying a few cocktails and dinner. Their menu is not your typical Chinese food but it’s really good! Sad that their Durham location closed last week, it was our new favorite spot to get dinner before a DPAC show.

Worst meal there ever. Ordered General TSO. There was only ONE piece of broccoli cut up into many pieces. Way over priced for this meal. Unfortunately I won’t be back.

This is the worst Asian food I've ever tried; it has no flavor, seems like they don't know salt, and some veggies were raw on my plate. Please don't spend your money there; you can go to Taipei 101 or Chuan Cafe if you want authentic Chinese food.
