When you want a piece of pizza with an old school flare then this is the place. Everytime I get this pizza for a meeting everyone asked me where it came from. Perfect amount of everything. And a City of Raleigh fam favorite.

This is hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. I don’t know why I haven’t tried this place before but I plan on making up for lost time.? if you want pizza, and I mean real NY style pizza, Franks is your go to!

Don't judge a book by its cover!! That's all you need to know about Frank's. We were in Raleigh for the day and looking for some authentic NY style pizza. I found an article online that talked about how great Frank's is and we decided to give it a shot. Upon arrival, we realized we were in what appeared to be a sketchy part of town. Trash everywhere in the plaza parking lot and some shady looking characters hanging around. We came very, very close to leaving due to this first impression, but I'm SO glad we didn't. Once we were inside of the restaurant, the uneasy feeling we had in the parking lot disappeared entirely. The atmosphere was cozy and warm, staff was attentive, and food was off the charts!! Everything we ordered tasted like it was made from scratch and the prices were very reasonable. I hate that Frank's is likely losing customers due to factors beyond their control, like their location and the shady characters in the area. They really do rank among the best pizza joints I have ever eaten at. If you're in the area, please give them a try. It's worth it!

First time visiting this place. My pasta wasn’t closed properly so the sauce spilled out, and the sandwich didn’t have mayo. Pizza was good according to family. The service however was awful. The “girl” with the blue hair was very rude. She referred to me as “girl”! I’m a grown woman and her overall attitude was terrible!!!!!I certainly won’t be back due to the service! I heard it’s a great place to eat and I could tell by the constant flow of customers but I don’t appreciate being called a girl!
Great pizza, lasagna, and wings. Good beer and wine selection. Great friendly people and great service. Frank took my order. The pizza is New York style, hand tossed and it was really good.Super casual. I'd suggest removing the saloon style sprung doors that add the random "chunk, chuck, chunk" to the noise level in the dining room. We went on a Saturday at 7:00 and they were near capacity. It was awesome. By 7:45 that had started to clear out. One thing I appreciate is that the tables had all gotten cleared and cleaned straight away. They close at 9:00.Order extra so you can be sure to have some to take home.
