We love Mike and the food is the best. Leave a big tip and he will be more likely to answer your call. We enjoy the bantering, he is quite funny with his joking, and if you just relax and are pleasant your tummy will thank you.

Found Fu Kee by researching nearby restaurants while doing errands. Great ratings. One of the reviews said the owner runs a one-man show. Well, they weren't lying. In addition to the ordering being a bit confusing, the wait seemed to keep getting longer. Takeout only. Very reminiscent of the start of COVID with the entire restaurant blocked off at the front door. There were also some "Yankee" jokes by the owner about the lack of patience of those from NY and NJ so the owner doesn't answer calls from those phone area codes. I didn't receive that too well after exhibiting lots of patience. There are so many transplants in the triangle, I'd suggest stopping that. Food was good, not great. Would I make a trip there: no, for distance alone. Will I return: considering the wait and jokes that fell flat... no.

The food is great and the service is even better, the owner is the only person who works there but with how fast and precise he is with the orders you would think he had a full staff. Fu Kee Express definitely has some of the best Chinese food in the area.

My food was fresh and Good and I give the guy credit as a one main show. But I don’t understand the logic for not hiring help things will go smoothly. I ordered human shrimp which was amazing but my issue came with the Fried rice, being that the dice came with white rice, I asked for fried rice and was up charged three dollars. The fried rice not fried at all it was yellow rice no peas and carrots, no onions just yellow rice. I paid 3 extra dollars for yellow rice. If I want fried rice I want it sauted in oil with peas and carrots with some egg and onion not a pack of yellow rice I could’ve made at home. For a 50 dollar meal. I’m not happy. All we ordered was Shrimp fried Rice which came in a quart, which was fried shrimp with yellow rice, hunan shrimp and yellow rice which was supposed to be fried. Two shrimp rolls, and my order was 50 dollars. The only plus was my food was fresh and good so I’m happy on that part.
