My friend and I went to Koi Grill & Sushi for dinner and had an amazing time! The food is awesome and very well priced. Also the service was fantastic and the environment/decor is welcoming. 10/10 recommend!

The inside of the restaurant is very nice looking. It gives off a warm, inviting, and serene atmosphere. The food was great; my sister and I both got the BOGO sushi rolls. Service was friendly and quick. The only downside we had was the bathroom. It did not appear either the men's or women's bathrooms had been cleaned well and there were unflushed matter left sitting in both the men's urinal and women's toilet. For the price, food, and atmosphere I would visit again. However, I would make sure to avoid the bathroom.

A no-frills restaurant with some of the best sushi you're likely to find in the entire state, and a Sake selection second to none. If you like Sushi, come here and ask for a chef's choice selection. You won't be disappointed.

Very small dinner portions for what you pay and its not even good. The soup that comes with it is literally about 3 spoonfuls. I will not go back.

This is a hidden gem in Raleigh!! I recommend for everyone to try this place and see what you think, my first time experience here was amazing. The staff is friendly and the chef even came and talked to me to check in, is very knowledgeable and has great recommendation for sushi rolls and sake! Love the atmosphere here as well, can’t wait to bring my friends and family here!

First of all, this is a really cute and unique restaurant. I feel like it was probably a BBQ joint in a past life and has been remade into a Sushi restaurant. The food was excellent, especially the sushi. We got the BOGO Valley Girl rolls and they were superb. Also got the hibachi, which was also very good. We got the egg drop soup and sweet and sour soup as starters, also great. The only down side was the very uncomfortable wooden chairs. Otherwise, and excellent experience over all.Price was cheap too! Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed my time here. Excellent sake selections by our waiter, who really helped us find some good options for the food we were eating. The sushi was delicious and since it was bogo it wasn't that expensive. I got the drunken noodle at 7 spice, and it really wasn't that spicy, so I would go higher if you want it spicy.

We absolutely love ordering great food from Koi! Normally we don't have any issues with ordering however, the last several times we have had issues ordering take out with allergies. There is a lady (dont know her name as we just try to order) that comes across very negative when we order with a food allergy. Besides the feeling of attitude when asking for an allergy substitute, we 110% hope you enjoy their food!

Maybe it was an off day judging by the reviews, but we did not have a great experience here. Ordered the tamago and were severely underwhelmed, then followed it with sushi that had warm, crumbly rice and somewhat poor quality on certain fish, but for buy one get one (on all specialty rolls by the way) I'm not sure how much I can complain. The service wasn't stellar but it wasn't awful either, again likely just a slow day. The Szechuan dumplings and pad Thai were pretty good. Overall, not impressed, but this may vary for everybody (their hot dishes may be the way to go).

Absolutely wonderful restaurant with the best sushi in Raleigh! Jason, the owner, and his wife are so hospitable & generous. The food was absolutely delicious & we were treated to Sake on the house. We won’t be going anywhere else for sushi. The restaurant is beautiful on the inside & has a cozy, welcoming environment. You should definitely try this place because you’ll love it. Guaranteed!!

AMAZING restaurant - all around! (Note: The outside does not represent the quality of what is inside.) The restaurant is beautiful. The sushi was incredible. And the service, even better. Jason, the chef, was so kind to my family and I. He brought us multiple sakes on the house, explaining to us the differences between them. He checked in on us multiple times just to chat. And he helped us decide the perfect meal. If you like sushi, GO TO KOI. I promise, it will be an amazing experience.

Delicious food, better than most that I have been all over the USA and the Chef was delightful. He opened 2 bottles of superb Sake from Japan (sweet and dry). What a great experience with my family and friend.

Partner really liked his pepper steak, raved about the crunchy veggies & tasty beef. I have been before and I always order a spicy dish. The owner took the order, and I specified I liked it spicy. Once again they look at me with my very pale pink skin, reddish brown hair and blue eyes and think I lied. Out comes my Thai basil chicken. They say it is medium spicy on the menu. I looked. I was very hungry. No chili flakes. I tasted, no chili oil. I looked again, where are the chilis? It was in a sauce the same as my husband's dish. Very sweet, no heat. Why so sweet, haiyaa! Thai basil? Where? Szechuan peppercorn? Nope. I am so hungry, but once again they serve me food about as spicy Yorkshire pudding, nursery Mac and cheese, tuna casserole. WHERE IS THE HEAT!!! THE SPICE??I want to like this place, hubby is so happy there. Alas. I asked why it is not spicy, and the very pleasant waitress brought a bowl of chilies in oil. Was this not available to the chef? I am tired of having to repair my food because it doesn't even match what is on the menu here.Vegetarian options: Plenty to choose fromWheelchair accessibility: Ground floor curbless entryway
