This is not authentic Indian food. The food is undercooked and high priced. We suggest that if you want to taste authentic Indian delicious food, never come here.

In a time where great food and great service is scarce, this place is a jewel. I chose this place to celebrate a family birthday based on a great word of mouth referral and the birthday girl loves Indian cuisine. The place is beautiful and clean inside! The atmosphere is upscale from decor to lighting. You relax when you walk in. Did I mention the cloth pressed napkins!! What? The music plus at a volume that adds to ambience but not annoyingly loud do you can’t hear each other talk. It is not too bright, but not too dark either. The food was prepare with attention to detail and tasted delicious. You can ask for no spice if you are not into Spicy food. The service is excellent. The servers don’t hover or intrude, but are right on time for your needs. As I mentioned, we celebrated a birthday. I brought a large cupcake and a candle and had it on the table before guests arrived. The server asked if he could plate it in the back for later. I was so happy for the offer. Later, he came out with this amazing long plate with happy birthday written on the plate in rainbow gorgeous writing. He even lite it as he approached the table. Then a happy birthday song began to play over their sound system! It was so thoughtful and added that specialness to the evening that is hard to find today in the service industry. Thank you so much!!!

Don’t get this place to-go. They will charge you almost $3 for a drink and then give you one the size of a sippy cup filled mostly with ice and that’s after you already bought a $25+ meal. God forbid you get anything spicy cause you’ll only get 4 sips and your drink is gone. Stingy

Amazing food, great ambience everything was near perfect The only issue I had was with the water. It was spring water, but it was sparkling for me and it just kind of ick for me. I wanna go back again.

I mean you just can’t beat the food here. The butter chicken is amazing, the Naan and Rice as well. Had a pretty good selection of whiskeys too which I liked. The food is so good here that I brought someone who was skeptical of Indian food beforehand to try it out and he exclaimed when we left, “this was like a top 10 meal for me”. Easy 5 stars

We go here very often and mostly come out satisfied. The quality of the food has been inconsistent but some dishes are still worth mentioning. For the appetizers chicken sukka and lamb chops are a great choice, could be heavy on spices but has very rich flavors, but are more on the spicier side so request spice levels as per preference, paneer sukka if you are vegetarian- similar masala is used in the chicken, and also try their baby corn pepper fry - loved these flavors. I also like their chicken lollipop dish but did not order it this time. For the main course we always pick Dal makhani. Their mango lime chicken has some sweet and spicy flavors and can be a good tropical entree. We also ordered egg curry which is a very standard curry and the taste was also mediocre. I would order chettinad curry if I want to eat something more spicy and Navratna Korma is absolutely delicious for the milder curry cravings. They do have some special biryanis that are authentic to the southern parts of India and must certainly give it one try. Do not order cahaptis here as they tend to serve frozen chapatis but the naans are good so I’d recommend that. They serve wine and also have a good cocktails menu. We enjoyed their jaljeera soda this time as we were trying to stay sober this particular night.Parking can be messy. Their parking lots fill up too soon. You may have to do street side parking or in the NC State deck (free on weekends)I would definitely visit again. The staff is very kind and friendly.

Food was great and the server did an excellent job of recommending good entrees that he thought we would like. He also recommended a terrific beer to go with the food. We were there for a special event and the surprise birthday dessert was a lovely treat. It's one of our favorite locations.

Lime & Lemon is our favorite Indian restaurant in Raleigh. Best Malai Kofta in town, much like I've had in New York and Dallas. They also offer delicious GF dosas, while many other Indian restaurants mix their Urad dal with hidden wheat flour. And we love the outdoor seating in good weather. Highly recommend!
