I have had the liver and onions a few times and it was always greatTonight how ever it was mushy and the sauce was bitter. Usually came with crisp bacon strips tonight there were a couple of pieces mushed into the sauceVery

Had the BEST meal here! I had portobella mushroom steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Highly recommend! Great service, cool decorations.

Food is horrible, including the pasta which is hard to screw up. Overpriced and limited menu for what it is.

I highly recommend Margaux's Restaurant to anyone wanting a great meal at moderate cost. The interior design and scenery inside Margaux's is unique and eclectic with lots of art that keeps you interested, commenting, and looking around throughout the meal. The service was excellent and our waitress knew all of the details about the menu, but she wasn't annoying about it. The waitress also had a great ratio of checking on us versus letting us eat/enjoy ourselves. The food was incredible, we ordered the Brussels sprouts, spinach salad, and Thai coconut soup, which were all really tasty and had perfect portion sizes. For the main course, we ordered the Yellowfin Tuna and Asado Chicken; both were large portions, delivered as ordered, and tasted great. I'd love to have the tuna again, it was cooked to perfection. I would definitely return to Margaux's as the menu changes daily/weekly. The total cost for drinks/food/tip was very reasonable and valued appropriately when compared to the food quality the restaurant delivered.

I have been a patron of Margauxs for over 20 years. I’ve had some excellent dinners here, with many fish dishes as they always have some really good choices that change often. But more than that, the staff makes me feel special every time I go there. Almost every time we are deciding where to go out to eat, we are at Margauxs. We love sitting in the bar area (martini’s are the best) and seeing all the regulars.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a lift to get to lower level.

Top of the list for a date night and if you come early enough, you can take advantage of the early bird specials, which do not disappoint. Margeaux's is a gem and super close to home for me. They will probably see me again some time this week!

I dined here with a few friends from work. I was excited to see the menu had an early bird special that consisted of a three course meal. I don't typically eat dessert when I dine out, so I was pleased to see that the third course was a dessert that I could indulge in as a treat for myself. complimentary bread was served to the table, which had a variety of different breads to choose from. The bread was decent, not spectacular, but I was rather hungry so I ate it up! We also ordered a couple of orders of brussel sprouts and charcuterie to share, both appetizers were pretty tasty. I ordered the three courses and selected a Caesar salad, sirloin steak with mashed potatoes and key lime pie. The only complaint that I have is that the sirloin steak was a bit tough. The waitress stated that the steak was served medium-rare; however, I asked to have it cooked to medium because medium-rare is a bit too undercooked for my liking. Sirloin isn't the most tender cut by any means, but I have had sirloin steak much less tough than what was served to me at this restaurant. The flavor of the steak and other foods were good, but the steak quality was less than optimal. I would dine here again, but, I would likely not order the sirloin steak due to the quality. Overall the dining experience was pleasant, the waitress was witty and did a great job. I would recommend this restaurant for a nice meal with friends.

Always an enjoyable experience. Wonderful restaurant for date night or gathering with friends. Staff are very attentive without being intrusive. They go above and beyond. Food is amazing and leaves you wanting to come back again. Never disappoints.

Staff was great and place has a comfortable feel, but was underwhelmed by the food. It was good food, but could use some editing. For the price-point I was expecting more.

Disappointed in the whole experience. Table was dark and behind partition by the door. Table was wobbly with no ambiance. Service was not attentive. Food was utterly disappointing. All the flavors were off and underwhelming. Grouper had way too much sauce and couldn't taste the crusting. Mushroom pie had no flavor and was burnt. Have been here many times over the last 20 years and likely won't be back.

Amazing food artfully prepared and presented. Great martinis to start. We did the prix fix which was a great deal. The fired shrimp with lemon dill was amazing as was the Caesar. The scallops were a great main course as was the salmon with a fantastic Buere blanc sauce. Fantastic key lime pie and chocolate mousse.

Delicious and fun place to eat a great dinner. Always a wide variety of very unique dishes. Staff are super friendly and accommodating. One of the top restaurants in Raleigh in my opinion.
