We visited NBC last night for first time. John and Carol have established a very comfortable, upscale feel in their new restaurant. John's a very talented chef and is very engaged with patrons, always seeking feedback. The service, meal and environment are extremely satisfying. Breaking news is that they've acquired Bruno's site in Wakefield as their next offering. This should be a big win for patrons who depended on Bruno's for all these years

Came here for lunch with an out-of-towner and a local. Service was fast, and the food good. I particularly remember that the host was welcoming and attentive.

Consistently good food at lunch and dinner, and always perfect service. Don't miss the Caesar salad or the fried artichokes (surprising favorite, in super-light batter). I only wish they had more veggie - forward items on the menu, but it might just be that I've gone on the wrong days. Wonderful to have this available in the area, nothing else quite like it.

Not impressed. It was our 2nd time there and I don't plan to return. Very overpriced and nothing great. Service was just okay and portions are small but expensive. I received a mini salad with half a plate of salmon that was undercooked. Sent back, waited until others were done and still charged full price with no apologies.

Came here for the first time last weekend and all the food was so delicious! The stuffed mushrooms and meatball appetizers came out fast and were delicious. I got the beef Wellington and my partner got the beef tenderloin gnocchi and both were cooked to perfection. The service was pleasant as well. The restaurant was very loud though and would be ideal if there was more than one giant room in the restaurant. But overall, that's a good sign it's busy.

Normally I am all about five stars for this restaurant. It is amongst my favorites in Raleigh. We just had an unusual experience in that we had to wait over an hour and a half for our food last night with no explanation or acknowledgment. My food was fine. It may have just been what I chose to eat. Was just disappointing based upon my previous experiences

Always an incredible experience all around. The food, the staff and the owners are amazing. Always a beautiful experience. We have an autistic child and they treat him like gold. Highly recommend. The Sullivan's.

Short story. Nice place to visit, service was good and we enjoy out dinner time (this is a huge plus). Now about food we ordered. Appetizer(pork belly) was good dish but it have nothing to do with the pork belly. It was nicely done pulled pork. Wife’s main course(Duck) was nicely done and forestier sauce was an A+. I order Beef Wellington, meat was nicely cooked but meat quality was not to the level. In was very chewy. Plus after the cut, the meat and dough separated, this is no-no for such high-end dish as Beef Wellington.

It was a perfect place for a celebration lunch. The food was delicious! The server was extremely attentive. The value was good for such a lovely lunch. My friend and I could hear as the noise level was not too high. Thanks for a pleasant experience to celebrate my recent retirement with a close friend.

I want to give this place a 5 star review because the food is worthy of it, however I cannot because I've dined here three times in the last year and had a service issue each time. I kept saying let's try again because food was amazing but now that I've been three times I must leave a review.1. April of 2023 my husband and I came to celebrate my birthday. Wrong appetizer brought out (not what we ordered) and was then charged (we were comped eventually when we bought it up) and our Beef Wellington was overdone to a well done (our fault because waiter never asked for our preference, I acknowledge that). No biggie though still edible and overall enjoyable experience. As such we decided to try again.2. December 2023 came with my girlfriend to celebrate Christmas. About 30-45 minutes in, the hostess came over to our table, even though we already ordered two drinks with our fantastic waitress, the hostess asked us if we were ready to order.... She then prompted us that we needed to order because our table was reserved for another party in about an hour. My girlfriend and I were flabbergasted, I've never been told something like that and certainly not at a fine dining establishment. We felt rushed and uncomfortable the rest of the night, like our business wasn't important and we needed to quickly eat and go because of other patrons. Even though our bill was $150+ I decided maybe it was Christmas rush issue and again gave it another shot.3. Feb 2024. My husband and I came to eat dinner for a date night, we had a 6pm reservation. We were sat at a high top table by the bar and my husband asked if we could move to a more intimate table nearby in a cozier setting. When he asked we were given the table and grateful we were but he was told that the table was reserved for a 8pm. I believe by the same individual who did this in December with me and my girlfriend. It was 5:58pm mind you. Again I was flabbergasted on why we were being rushed and told about the next time table at 8pm. Again we dropped $200 dollars on dinner and we were done by 7:15pm.It is such a shame about the hostess reservation situation because the food is mouthwatering, so good and the drinks are fantastic!! The waiter we had was wonderful tonight but the hostess situation of telling people when other reservations are coming is rude and honestly not good business practice. I've really never experienced that before and now have experienced it twice here (Dec and Feb). My husband and I live 5 mins up the road and would choose this place over and over if we could to celebrate because again chefs kiss to the food, it's incredible! However, the hostess situation is really a turn off.
