First time visiting here even though I walk past it all the time. Came here for some brunch and got seated right away outdoors. I got the French toast with a side of fruit and a mimosa as well. The French toast was pretty feeling and I enjoyed it.Our server was nice and attentive as well.

Came here around 7pm on a Sunday and got sat right away. Our baby was yelling for food and spit up a bit on the floor but everyone was very accommodating. Food was super fresh and service was quick. It sounds like they might switch up their menu quite frequently Strawberry arugula salad - very fresh and loved the bitter arugula with the sweet strawberry and tart dressing Trout - not fishy at all and loved the creamy sauce with the perfectly cooked celery root Fettuccine with short rib - meat was tender and the pasta was very garlicky and flavorful

This place was a referral. I was looking forward to enjoying their pasta. But I was hours too early, since I learned pasta is only served during dinner. So, I settled for salad. It was pretty good. My server was extremely helpful and kind.
We've gone to Plates Kitchen for years and the meal is normally very good. This past time we ordered several appetizers for dinner. They were so bad, store boy crackers and pimento cheese. Horrible mushroom ravioli that was also store bought in a watery broth. Honestly almost inedible, so disappointing

We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening at Plates Kitchen. We had Crab Begnettes and Fig & Arugula Salad for sharables and the main courses of Trout, Sunday Roast (chicken) and Saffron Fettuccine, and all were unbelievable good. The service was friendly and never felt rushed! We finished with the Flirtatious Friar dessert, and we left happy and sated! The place was quiet for a Sunday night, and we enjoyed the ability to have a wonderful conversation without having to shout over others' noise. All in all it was a lovely evening.
