I've had two recent bad experiences with Randy's Pizza at Lake Boone. Their pizza had been good, though pricey, but this place is on the decline. I'll never order from them again. In November 2023 I ordered a pizza to be delivered to my home (I live less than 2 miles from their Lake Boone store). The pizza never arrived. Repeated calls to the store yielded no results, except to get a credit. I ended up going to HarrisTeeter and buying a pizza from them (for 1/2 the cost). On 3/21/2024 I decided to give them another chance. I ordered a pizza from Randy's at Lake Boone. I ordered ahead, for a 6 pm pickup. I picked it up at 6:05 pm. The pizza was cold and dry. It was supposed to have basil on it. There was one piece. I gave them written feedback, but have not heard from them. Two days later, I ordered a pizza from Mellow Mushroom on Peace Street in Raleigh. A better pizza for less money.

Ordered a pizza at 8pm and they called me at 8:50pm to say that they don't deliver because my address is 20 min away. They had my address for 50 min yet waited to call and inform me that won't deliver. I have a feeling they are just lazy because they close at 9pm and didn't want to make the effort. Now my family is hungry and could have ordered different food during that time but alas these inconsiderate fools wasted our time. Absolutely unacceptable. I'd give them zero stars if I could.

As a NJ native, pizza is a lifestyle for me and Randy's has done it. The slices are massive, reasonably priced, always fresh with friendly workers to top it off. And if you ever want to feed a group, this is your place! I haven't eaten in, but my food rarely makes it out of the parking lot lol
A classic slice of pizza! It was so huge and such a steal for only $3.50. The calzone was also huge and delicious. The staff was all really nice and the wait time was super speedy!

This pizza has gone down hill. Ordered 3 pizzas this last time and all were basically under cooked, soggy crust - 1 worse than the others. One had chicken, which was not good at all, couldn't finish. Other lacked seasoning...reheated in oven to cook more and added salt, pepper and oregano for flavor, which made it better. But overall disappointing and wouldn't recommend. Online ordering is easy and convenient.

I’ve been here several times, the food is always amazing. Be prepared to order in advance as they are short staffed. I love the pizza by the slice and garlic knots. Tonight I got Randy’s Stromboli and it was incredible.
