If you've never eaten here before or you're new in town (like me) you won't be disappointed in the food and service. A little pricey but we'll worth your money. We'll definitely return for seconds or thirds; this place is quaint and has its own charm. Again, you won't be disappointed

We were not sure what to expect. However, the food, the experience, the service was outstanding. Can we talk about the Brussels? They were on point. The chicken had a great flavor. The steak had this nice crust on it. It was all fantastic! We will definitely be back.

The Brussels, the burger, the breakfast burrito....AMAZING!! Love the warm atmosphere, small vases with flowers on the tables and dental picks in the restrooms! Service is good. Reservations necessary.

Love the Rockford! Food is always great and we got the early bird special last visit because we were eating before 7pm (or 7:30 I cant remember the cutoff) which was an added bonus!!

I had the shrimp and grits for brunch and it was fabulous! I've never had S&G that I like, but my friend swore by them so I gave them a try and they blew me away. Absolutely delicious. Also ordered their $3 Sunday brunch mimosas and they were very good as well! Can't wait to come back here

If I had a last meal I'd want the Iron Steak and Parmesan truffle potatoes with asparagus! Best meal ever!! Melt in your mouth, bursting with flavor - totally worth every penny!

Food was good and met expectations. Service was a tad slow despite the restaurant being at 75% capacity. For example, took 15-20 minutes to get a premade desert that was ordered to the table.

The Rockford was a pretty great place to come for brunch! I had a friend in town so I brought them here. The restaurant itself is really aesthetically pleasing, and the servers are really friendly. I got the shrimp and grits and my friend got the breakfast burrito and we both enjoyed our meals. We also split a couple of the donuts and those were also really good. I don't know if I would come for dinner, but I really enjoyed my brunch experience and think it was a lovely place to bring my friend. I heard about this place from Offline Raleigh.

The menu was short and too pricey, but had some good variety. The food itself though was sad. The chicken tasted old. The fries were unsalted and soft. Everything, where possible, was drenched in overly sweet sauce. The bar downstairs had a very loud bass making our chairs vibrate the whole time. The waitstaff was pleasant and the ambience was nice, vibrating chairs notwithstanding.

My friend took me here for my birthday and they did not disappoint. I've walked pass this place many times and never noticed it. I started with an old fashion, one of my favorite drinks. It was delicious, we then had the Brussel sprouts and omg, they were the best! I had the burger and fries and my friend had the risotto and scallops. The scallops melt in your mouth, but she felt it was that hot temperature wise. The burger was delicious and the fries were good, I'm not a big fry person so when I say they are good... they are. I would definitely go back, and probably order two of the sprouts.

This is a nice cozy place to enjoy a cocktail and dinner while taking in the lively Glenwood South crowd from the Rockford's 2nd floor dining room. My wife and I met another couple and really enjoyed this place. We went on a Thursday evening when they had live entertainment. The single musician was entertaining and played many familiar songs. We shared the bread and tomato salad appetizers and each got our own large plate. I had the scallops, my friend and wife had the tofu dish while his wife had the salmon. All were delicious and filling. We were so full from our entrees we didn't have room for dessert.I highly recommend this restaurant but make sure to have reservations since the dining area isn't huge and fills up quickly.

If you’re looking for innovative, small plates, this is the place to go. A friend has suggested we come here. The restaurant is beautiful inside. I love the old charm. To be honest, wasn’t really a fan of the food. Small portions and just a little too fancy for my taste. But if that is your style I would give it a shot. People working here and the chef are very friendly!

The restaurant has a great location and beautiful atmosphere. I would say to stop in for a drink. The food is a little bland, but the portions are large. I added a decent amount of salt and it helpes. Outside if that the staff is very kind and helpful.

The restaurant was very nice. The look was very quaint. The food was good. The Brussels were the best. The Burger was good but not cook the way we asked. The Scallop Risotto was ok. The Scallops were seasoned and cooked to perfection but the Risotto was not to temperature. I told the waitress and she comped the Brusse Sprout Appetizer.

Not handicap friendly, food was salty and overcooked, waitress wasn’t a people person, and very small menu selection.
