This place is mid.Cocktails were mid. Warm.Wine selection doesn’t include any French wines.Service was friendly but sub par.Steak meets the minimum of a good steak but nothing stands out.

Steak was not cooked the way requested. Steak was taken back while the baked potato got cold. Steak for the salad was delivered separately salad came much later and the steak was cold. There was a salad with steak and then a t-bone steak with baked potato. The manager made everything well and took care of our drinks. We were also given desserts to make up for the meal. However I am a steak eater Love steak cooked ? Pittsburgh style. I will probably not go back ?.

The place itself and the service are good but they have very inconvenient, unnecessary, and not open minded dress code for hats. Way to make customers feel unwelcome.Response: We'd love to come back, but not as long as the dress code is enforced.

Service here is phenomenal because they treat you with so much respect. The filet is juicy, tender, and is probably the best steak in the country. The creamed spinach and Caesar salad are delicious as well. First class restaurant and has New Orleans roots with the founder!

Great food and great service. Definitely an option for a special occasion as it is expensive.

Had an amazing time celebrating our anniversary. I'm not a steak lover at all, so if I go to a steakhouse, I have hard to meet expectations. Well, my expectations were met! The seasoning of my Cowboy T-Bone was AMAZING, and my wife had the Filet Mignon, which also was cooked perfectly. The Brussel sprouts were the best I've ever had, the garlic mashed potatoes were not overpowering and were perfect (I'm not a fan of garlic mash potatoes normally). The broccoli was perfect as well. Food is served piping hot as well. 5 stars all the way around. This chain had me going in with high expectations and we were pleasantly surprised that our expectations were not only met, they were exceeded. We will be visiting again.

I have been going to Ruth's Chris on Lassiter Mill since they opened. I usually order a New York Strip, and I specify that it is a center cut. We went for NYE and I had a Filet, my wife had a NY Strip. I asked that it be a center cut. It wasn't, but my wife didn't speak up until after. Overall I was disappointed. We felt rushed. The USDA prime designation is good...but going with end cuts is cheating. Plain and simple. I am a trained butcher and I know the games that stores and restaurants play with putting lipstick on a pig. If I eat at Ruth's Chris again..I'll have a burger. If I want a steak, there are better steak houses.

A girls night out and good food turned into a wonderful evening at Ruth Chris. While everyone else ordered the ribeye, I choose something s little lighter. Spicy salmon with crunchy shrimp, brussel sprouts, and a cosmo was my choice for the night. It was very delicious and well prepared. The atmosphere was also nice within the restaurant. Our waitress was very attentive to our table and the manager stop by to ask of we were pleased with our service.

Honestly, there wasn’t much wrong with our visit/meal/experience. The service was impeccable. I felt like we were looked after, but not hovered over. And water glass was always filled. Everything came out well spaced out and in a very timely fashion. The food was great! I was pleasantly surprised how great was plate was, considering it’s a chain restaurant. I’d say the apps are over priced - we got the calamari, which is still really tasty and prob worth the price. . The steak, which I got a ribeye, was A+. Perfectly cooked, served hot, and accurate. The only real issue with this place is it needs a serious facelift. The decor is tired and worn. It feels a little like you’re in a 90s badly decorated house. Other than that, I’d highly recommend.

Had an incredible time at the recent wine dinner. The food was delicious, and the wine was amazing!

Hadn't been to Ruth Chris since moving to Raleigh from Charlotte... so I invited a few of my staff for a quick holiday lunch. We arrived at 1:15 and were surprised only two other small groups were present. The menu had very few options (which I attribute that to the current Covid crisis) --no point loss for that The food came out lukewarm in my case, and I was served some greasy, refried, fries that looked anything but appealing. And so I informed the manager about the fries and in the most snarky, condescending manner he says "yeah ok" and removes them from the table, and hastily and dramatically walks away as if I did something wrong. Needless to say when the waiter came back he was in a different mood as well and was very short with us to the point of us feeling very uncomfortable. I do believe it's customary when you are spending your money... to get what you're paying for and all I wanted was hot, edible fries. And to think I didn't even complain about the steak being lukewarm and/or prepared as I ordered. I didn't want or ask for anything out of the ordinary, or for them to comp my meal, reduce price etc. And my plea was in a cheerful tone, as I was in a great mood before everything just went downhill. My guests and I were in the holiday spirit, even despite the current state of the pandemic and just wanted some normalcy in our routine. Upon leaving our spirits were broken with how we were treated. And honestly I've experienced not so stellar service in places in the past and I always give another try before writing a restaurant all the way off. But this Ruth Chris location will not get my business. It's manager obviously doesn't how the art of customer service or just the basic principles of how to interact with others. He should try stepping down to his neighbor Firebirds to get some lessons if he wants to thrive in this market. Ambiance: 3 Cleanliness: 3 Customer Service: 1 Food: 1

When we arrived the valet told me that he was closed for the night, when we were leaving he was getting cars for other customers. We didn't finish all of our food and asked to take it with us. Rather then taking our plates to the kitchen and boxing it for us, the waiter brought us containers to do it ourselves, not a fine dining experience. A friend arranged earlier in the day to pay for our dinner. My credit card was taken and charged for the meal. After my friend calling an accommodation was made, but the surprise had already been ruined. It was less then an ideal New Years Eve experience.
