The manager Ricky is rude and inappropriate. We waited over an hour for food and he argued with me for 30 minutes to get an $5 discount on a $100 bill after saying he would take care of it and give a discount. Never have I had this type of experience here. I’m thoroughly disappointed and do not recommend. Sever however was sweet and gracious!!
Ok- the positive first- our waitress was extremely attentive and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. Now the negative: I eat a plant based diet and have not eaten meat in several years. They have a vegetarian menu and I ordered the spinach enchiladas. My order came promptly and looked very good, until I cut into it and bit into chicken!’after that I felt sick to my stomach,. I called the waitress over and once she understood what I wanted she replaced it, but that was unacceptable!Vegetarian options: They have a nice selection including a vegan bowl, which I should have ordered to avoid any mistakes.

I bit into a broken piece of glass, INSIDE my Chimichanga. Cut my mouth and everything. I try to contact them. Phone line is busy no matter the time of day. Absolute liability!

The food was absolutely delicious. However, the service was ATROCIOUS. When we sat down Gabriella immediately was rushing us to order our drinks, appetizers, and our meal. We didn't even get a second to look at the menu. We were rushed the entire time and didn't feel welcomed whatsoever. When she brought out the bill she kept pushing and pushing it on the table and didn't give us a second to finish our meal. We were here for MAYBE thirty minutes due to us being rushed out.

Got sat at 9:55pm, 5 minutes before they closed (we really didn’t realize they were about to close because music was in full swing) and got given food menus (we asked if they were closing when we walked in) and no one came to the table until 10pm at which point were told the kitchen closed at 10pm. Please tell your hungry customers as they’re walking in that you’re closing and your kitchen is about to close, we’re happy to go somewhere else and support your business at another time but don’t let us sit there and wait hungry to be told your kitchen is already closed.

San Jose is one of the staples in my Tacos and Tequilas Tuesdays rotation. If you decide to visit San Jose, you won't have any regrets..especially if you try the tacos, wings, fajitas, and any of the drinks. The service is always helpful, attentive, and friendly. In addition to our main server, we have observed the manager walk around and ask how patrons are enjoying their visit. It's the little things like this that encourages me to return again and again. If you live in or are visiting Wake Forest/North Raleigh and you are looking for a place to let your hair down after a rough day/week and want some tasty tacos, rice, and refried beans, don't think twice about visiting San Jose. Everything we have ordered has been good. Our food always comes to the table hot and looking very appealing. They say "we eat with our eyes." Above all, the taste never disappoints. The ambience is also date-appropriate. Snuggle up with your date and a nice cocktail. You will not be disappointed. Happy Eating!

I usually come here every Monday for lunch with a friend and the lunch menu is great . Today we had family surprise us and decided to come here . Absolutely terrible food , service was spotty and was also overcharged . The brunch menu was subpar but the food was embarrassing after raving about what a great time we would have .
Friends took me for my birthday. They came with dessert for the table and smashed icing all over my face! I did not appreciate that.

This is our second time visiting and we really enjoy the atmosphere! It's a little fancier than most of the Mexican places around here. All of the servers are extremely nice and our food has been great each time! Everything has a lovely presentation and they play great music

Food was tasty and all but could have been hotter. So that was disappointing. Service was prompt and thorough. Music was a bit loud for me. Prices are quite reasonable.

Great de birria tacos... amazing! House Margarita was good stuff as well. Flan was a good flavor but didn't care for the sprinkle dot things. Room for improvement on the chips and salsa, but definitely recommend.
