hi guys! I'm back again with another raving review for a restaurant that I've only been to twice, and probably will never return again. The first time I went to this location is because I have a safe infatuation with Birria tacos. Unless the queso monster truck is around, I don't have a lot of places around me that serve this particular dish. So I came across this restaurant, as this actually not too far from my house and decided to go one day. The first visit, I did, in fact get the Birria tacos and they were quite good. The only downside was that they were a little soggy because they were sitting in the to go plate and by the time I got home well you know the rest. But I still ate it because they were good. This time around was a little more time-consuming as when I work from home I'm not the biggest fan of fast food places, especially with bad customer service, and even worse food. so I decided to play this place another visit. I placed it to go order on the website as I was coming back from running an errand while I was on my lunch. was able to get there pick it up. Bring it back home and have at least 20 minutes left to enjoy my food. Well, unfortunately, there was a mishap and one of the tacos that was in my order was nothing but non-rendered fat from the meat that is used in this taco. Oh just wait, I have a photo you'll see it. being that I was unable to circle back, I came home, continued the rest of my workday and decided to head back to the restaurant after work. When I walked in the restaurant, I was greeted by a host and immediately asked him after a greeting of saying hello, if there was a manager that I could speak with. I didn't think to ask for the managers name, as I thought that maybe he would introduce himself as most managers do in restaurants or any type of establishment/restaurant. I let him know of the issue that I was having with my food, and immediately he made an excuse for why the food looked the way that it did. then responded saying, with the amount that I paid for three tacos with a side of tortilla chips this order should've been better for a better lack of words. ultimately, I wind up asking if there was anything they can do to fix the situation as I was unable to eat the taco and having to throw it away, which is a waste of money. without saying a word, he just walked away. I'm standing there looking around like what just happened so after he comes back from the back, he asked me about my order, how it was placed, and how it was paid for. so being the matter that he said, they don't have gift cards, he decided to refund me. I thought it was great, He only refunded me for one taco. I didn't have the time or energy to debate, or explain even further my dissatisfaction with my food so I left it at that and I left. as I advised him, this was my second time only coming to this location, and it was a little disappointing that the food was made like this, seemingly looking like in a rush, and then he tried to make an excuse for why it looked the way that it did. And after you see this photo, there's no excuse that you can get anybody for this just being honest. $15 for three tacos and they were subpar if i'm being honest and was about $8. In conclusion, as you can tell, this is sorely about the food not the establishment itself cause it is a nice establishment. I just never been in to sit down and indulge. But this will definitely make me rethink visiting this establishment again. if food is being produced in this matter for a to go order I'm hoping that is better in person than what I receive today. and that concludes my review ladies and gentlemen! Went with a large group of 18, and everything was great. The service was fast, and the food was excellent. Great atmosphere for dining.
The food was once again over the top. Shrimp was grilled to perfection, only place I know in the Raleigh area to get a real chile reileno. Margaritas are all in-house crafted. The atmosphere is fun and upbeat. The menu is HUGE. Our server was adorable! Can’t go wrong here!

Always great food and service. Absolute favorite Mexican restaurant in the RDU area. I haven't found the stuffed pineapple dishes anywhere else. The homemade guac is one of the few that I like. The staff is just beautiful inside and out. Not your regular San Jose Mexican Restaurant. In a league all their own!
