The food was delicious and affordable. After our meal we came back to try the baklava, and it was absolutely wonderful! We’ll be back to try more dishes and sample more desserts!

Called in to place and order and Josh was being extremely difficult stating we have an online website like he could not do call in order. The employee put me on 5 minute hold. I then go on to tell the employee the portal is not allowing us to customize the 4 sample plater. The attitude was horrible considering they have system flaw.

Sassool is very fresh food. I get the You Pick 3 which is $11 and so good. It comes with their warm, out of the over, pita bread.Above picture is vegan:Autumn Root Salad,Mjadarah-or MJ, Sweet Potato Salad. Ask to try a spoonful. That's how I learned! They also have meat, fish, veggies.Oh, Mon nite is senior nite 15% off.Vegetarian options: There are green leaf icons signifying vegetarian. There are a lot of yummy options.Dietary restrictions: They have some gluten free options. Just askParking: I park in the lot in front of the thrift store. There are quite a few spaces.

Mediterranean themed meal was good, but not outstanding. Rice was particularly good while the kabobs were a bit dry and light on seasoning or flavor.

Always five star!Such a treat when I am in the neighborhood for some of their incredible edibles! You cannot go wrong with anything here, I bet the napkins even taste good. Fresh, fantastic food. I especially enjoy the stuffed grape leaves, chicken skewers, Mediterranean salad, Spinach& Feta Pizzette and Every. Single. Side. Dish. Don't even get me started on their deserts, Devine! Truly you can find something for everyone; Vegan, Veg, Gluten Free, carnivore, however you eat it will be delicious here! PS ask for extra garlic sauce for dipping your pita, thank me later!

Standard. Probably because I had to wait 30 minutes while phone and online orders were being fulfilled before in person order. They had a few people working, maybe overworked or took something from the store next door, cause they were slooooow.People coming in and the queue growing to the door, no management of people nor orders. The the management:The food is okay, cold now. It was not like this before. Major downgrade and disappointment. You aren't a cheap restaurant, you can do better if you care for customers in person.4:49pm entrance5:39pm exit.Normally I would have left if it weren't that I had to wait for a plane to arrive in RDU, and for my sad town outside Raleigh not selling anything else but grits and biscuits ughhVegetarian options: They have vegetarian options - most of the items are vegetarian with a bit of meat.Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome. Keep on leash and quite.Wheelchair accessibility: Parking available infront and inside quite ample.

When I moved to this Raleigh neighborhood years ago, I discovered a goldmine at Sassool Mediterranean restaurant and market. Sassool offers a fresh hot and cold food bar full of healthy and delicious choices in an extremely clean dine-in or convenient take-out option. You can choose from a wide variety of food combination platters, order a side or two, or you select your favorites by divided pounds packed fresh in front of you.I highly recommend their freshly made hummus. I buy a pound of hummus at a time along with a bag of pita bread as a healthy snack to take home. Their stuffed grape leaves, and chicken and rice are my favorites, too. I overall love this high quality, convenient, healthy dining option.Vegetarian options: The many offered vegetarian selections are clearly marked. The staff as well is always friendly and willing to answer questions, and graciously serve you.Parking: Multiple businesses and other restaurants exist around Sassool so parking somewhat depends on the time of day you choose to dine there. However, the shared lot is large, and I usually don’t have to wait.Kid-friendliness: Very kid-friendly. I frequently see families with even young children dining together. I have never noticed this restaurant to have much background noice (eg., upset children).Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant is wheelchair accessible as the parking lot exists just outside the front doors. The lot is flat, and the sidewalk running parallel to Sassool has low level ramp access.
