Great folks! Great hospitality! Everyone is welcome! And hands down a place to check out if you’re into nicely done seasonal coffee drinks! Never disappointed

Meh... Coffee and latte were nothing to write home about. The coffee was weak and the latte had too much milk.

Would give 10 stars if possible. All of the drinks and food are de-freaking-licious. The cappuccino, lattes and cold brews are enough to make you write home to grandma about them. The breakfast is so scrumptious it will have you craving it the night before and dreaming about it. The staff are the friendliest most down to earth laid back folks I’ve met at a coffee shop.I’m a fan of this place but it is honestly by trial and error. I’ve visited nearly every coffee shop in Raleigh and can confirm that the quality of the food and drinks here are unrivaled.

What truly sets Sir Walter apart is its commitment to community and sustainability. The shop proudly sources its beans from local roasters and partners with nearby bakeries to feature fresh, locally sourced ingredients in their offerings. Additionally, the shop's cozy seating areas and communal tables provide a welcoming space for locals and visitors alike to connect and unwind.Sir Walter Coffee Shop is more than just a place to grab a cup of coffee—it's a haven where community, quality, and sustainability converge. Whether you're in need of a caffeine fix, a delicious snack, or simply a moment of tranquility in the bustling city, Sir Walter never disappoints. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a true taste of Raleigh's vibrant coffee culture and a place to bring friends.

This local coffee shop offered a variety of options for not only coffee but also alcoholic options. The staff was very friendly and offered their insight on their favorite drinks from the menu. If you are looking for a great coffee shop in downtown Raleigh, this is your spot! I enjoyed their espresso martini with my family when they were in town and I even went back with some friends.

Cool little coffee and gathering place with amazing iced coffee specialities; I tried the ginger slap which packed a punch. My daughter enjoyed the Himalayan tea. Engaging and enigmatic team serving up great breakfast vibes…

All around solid spot. Very quaint and quiet. The only thing I wasn't too fond of was the frequent opening and closing of the door because it was strangely cold outside. The caramel machiato was delicious. I already want another. My wife ordered the bagel and the dolce coffee and she demolished everything in front of her.
Coffee was okay, I ordered sugar free and also with almond milk which may have been sweetned but my drink was not tolerable after a few sips and overally sweet. The food we got was excellent but the calling out name system isnt working, no one called out my friend's name so I had to check a few times interrupting conversation with her.The music was really loud too Im not sure how people study in there. Got to try it and there are other cafes in the area. I do like the interior.

Coffee was okay. Definitely the most expensive, but smallest coffee I ever bought. Staff were a little flat, definitely weren’t excited about work that morning.Scone was small and expensive, but good.
