I love Smooth Joe!! The staff is incredibly sweet, I always order the sausage, egg and cheese croissant breakfast sandwich (I crave it all the time). I highly recommend. My favorite thing about this coffee shop in particular is the flavor of the espresso isn’t overshadowed by the flavoring you choose. The lattes I get here remind me of my very well loved homemade lattes, when I don’t have the time or espresso grounds this is such a perfect treat for my sister and I.

While on vacation from Boston, our family encouraged me to try Smooth Joe Coffee— which was only a quick walk away. The pastries we ordered were phenomenal, and the coffee was absolutely outstanding. I always appreciate mom-and-pop coffee shops rather than Starbucks or Dunkin’, but this place is like no other. The owner as well is very kind, as well as the rest of the front staff.
A quiet spot to have breakfast and a cup of coffee. Everything is exactly what you want and expect. The coffee is hot and fresh. The food is good (far, far better than the chain shops). I also appreciate the decor as someone clearly put in some serious time and effort.
