Ordered Sushi Deluxe and Shrimp Tempura Roll. The food was so good, tasted fresh, and incredibly well prepared. Melissa our server was fabulous and had such great menu knowledge. She helped us with the menu ensuring we ordered the perfect dishes. The restaurant feels warm and welcoming and would highly recommend.

I came here with my boyfriend for an early dinner to celebrate my promotion at work. I'm new to North Carolina and was excited to try the sushi here. I really hope this doesn't set the bar for my future experiences because I was very very disappointed in both the food and service. The sake was probably the best thing we got as I had never tried mango Nigori before but all else fell short. Our gyoza were half seared and just okay. The rolls were a huge let down even though the by description and looks it seemed good. We had the Crunchy King which was the better of the three. The Daddy which was mid. And the lastly the Spiderman roll which to me was inedible and I only had one piece. Our server never came to check on us after we received our rolls otherwise I would have said something but when she came by after we were finished, asked if I wanted a box for the uneaten roll and I expressed I didn't like it.She kinda paused, gave a face and said okay and walked away. When she returned with our bill, we were still charged for the roll. I then had to ask for her to take it off as I don't think we should've been charged for it. She again gave a face, said "I'll see what I can do"The service left a lot to be desired, it's very lack luster and as a Restaurant Manager myself I'd be very unhappy if my staff handled this situation like this.Overall, it really left me with a sour taste in my mouth and feeling like I wasted time and money coming here for what was supposed to be a special occasion for me.

Edit: I've been coming here for around 10 years now, and it pains me to say that this food is not good anymore. It's lost it's taste, the sushi isn't bogo anymore, the food has been tasting like chemicals and not fresh the past few times I've gone. I thought it was a fluke the first couple times, but it's not. Food is getting more expensive and it's just another place on Glenwood to me now. Sushi O is going downhill and I'm changing from a 5 to a 2 star.Best Thai/sushi on Glenwood hands down. Don't even bother going to sushi blues while sushi o is in the game.

This is the best Sushi Bar I've patronized in a long time. The food is absolutely delicious; the servers (Ashley and Olivia) are the friendliest; and the owner (John), is so appreciative and welcoming. When I drive from the Coast, to visit my granddaughter in Raleigh, this is our place to eat. This is my go-to Sushi restaurant from now on ???.

Great sushi spot in Raleigh. I had some salmon sashimi and the pork gyoza. The food was great I was really happy with the meal. The service was mediocre, our server was not very attentive and also not very knowledgeable about the sushi. Nonetheless the food was good!

I love Sushi O! Enjoyed the mussels and sushi, and complementary parking. Definitely the best sushi place on Glenwood.

Beautiful restaurant! I love sushi and this is the best sushi place in the RDU area. Fresh fish, amazing rolls, and delicious entrees too. My fav rolls would be dancing eel, daddy, and flamingo. Also love the hibachi or pad Thai there. Def sit on the patio during the summer!!

Had a date night and we decided to try three restaurants in one night. One for appetizers, one for dinner and one for dessert. This was our appetizer restaurant. We started with the Gyoza and they were delicious. We decided to get another appetizer, and we should've stayed with the gyoza. We ended up taking our server suggestion which was the crab wontons. They should be called cheese wontons, there was no sight of crab. Since I was the designated driver I just had water. My friend ordered the Prosecco which they hd two, one said dry and the other one was not. It came to the table in a small bottle but she didn't read it until after she poured it in the glass and tasted and it was a dry Prosecco which she didn't like. The waitress was very nice, oh and they do validate parking, which is a plus for the no parking glenwood ave. I did see some items on the menu I would like to try, so we may go back.

The food was quite good but a little on the salty side, and the drinks were not very good at all. It was a nice place to explore, however I may not go back. Great and attentive service though!

The noodles are pretty good here but the sushi is crazy good. Prices reflect that but the quality is worth it.

Went here for our date night yesterday. Place is cozy and romantic with candles everywhere. We had hibachi chicken, which was delicious with that yumyum sauce. Baked hamachi Kama and spicy salmon salad was bangin. Sashimi was fresh and presented really nicely. The wine we ordered complemented our dinner. Will definitely come back.

The host was not attentive, I made a reservation and got seated next to the front door on a really cold night. And the host propped the door open at one point during the evening. I was not at all impressed with the waiters service he did not offer a drink menu nor did he come to check our table to see if I needed anything. Do not go on Valentine's Day or any other holiday, they added 4 extra tables for the day which made the space really crowded, loud and unpleasant. The food was mediocre at best, I left feeling like I should've stayed home for the night.

I found a tiny roach floating on my iced water, indicating an infestation. On top of that, the staff was not apologetic at all. Needless to say, I will not go back.

This was our first time here, located towards the end of Glenwood . We were seated right away and drink orders taken. Our waitress was very good and knew the menu well. There wasn't as bog of a variety to choose from as other places, but we still found plenty of choices we liked. We ordered the bang bang shrimp for our appetizer, it was really good. I ordered the 8pc Firecracker Roll and an 6pc Jalapeño popper Roll (which actually came with jalapeño poppers!), My wife got the 10pc Daddy Roll (shrimp tempura, avocado, eel sauce and a bunch of other stuff), as well as a smaller 5 pc Shrimp Tempura Roll (I added a tad bit of Wasabi for some kick!). We both had white and soy sauce for dipping. Needless to say we had plenty of leftovers for future lunch enjoyment. They also serve classic Asian Faire (hibachi, shashumi, noodles/soups, etc), for those who may not care for sushi. All in all, a nice spot for our sushi 'hankerin' tonight.
