Up there with the worst BBQ I've ever had. Not only does the food taste bad though, they charge you an astronomical amount and then chince you everywhere they can. They go so far as weigh it out and remove any amount of extra. The sauces are mid at best, and the sides taste like they've been sitting out all day.Save your money and go to Longleaf Swine, Sam Jones, or Ole Time for better food AND experience. If you're in North Hills already, pretty much any other dining experience will surpass this.

The food was excellent, and the service was on point. It was my first time so the team took their time suggested food items, explained the menu and made sure I was satisfied. I'm sure some people will complain about something....but I have no complaints!!Vegetarian options: Yes they have a few. I also like that they state the green beans have meat in them.Parking: It's north hills....there is a large parking deck and street parking options.

I had been dining here every other week and I'm quite fond of the pulled pork. Unfortunately this week 3 23 24 it had vinegar on it and I had to chuck it into the trash. Sad $20 trashed. They should warn about the sneaky vinegar ??

I've been here several times and was very impressed with brisket chili, burnt ends and brisket... Until the last couple of visits. I got burnt ends again and they were tough, dry and chewy. Next time I got a brisket sandwich (for $14) and it was tough and dried out. I'm disappointed after waiting so long for BBQ lab to open then being quite impressed initially. Don't know what has changed but I hope they figure it out.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!Well I was surprised by my daughter, bringing me a plate. I have never heard of this restaurant. I'm a gastric bypass customer so she bought me the BBQ redhead plate with French fries and pickles. The pickles was so delicious, I want to come just to get a jar of pickles. Then the brisket and bbq was so marvelous that I overlooked the sauce. Then I put a fork of bbq/collar greens into the sauce, I was in dreamland delicious floating. The fries was nicely seasoned and still had a crunch. I'm not sure if anybody use to play the save game WITH good food when you was a child. I couldn't think of nothing, but this game. I wanted this plate last a long time and was not sharing, Lol. Well it was so much food on the plate that I could only eat a few more forks fulls, then I reached my max. I'm going to find this restaurant and pick something else to eat. I know it has to be delicious and I'm dining in just in case I need seconds. This is the best bbq I have had this year.Dietary restrictions: I'm a gastric bypass customer and I wanted to keep on eating. I knew my limit so I had to stop eating this delicious plate.Parking: Good location and no problem with parkingKid-friendliness: My son had the pulled pork and he came home bragging about how good his plate was. He wants to go back.

Went today & spent nearly $80 on burndt ends & 1/2 lb of pulled pork..no problem cause we do love the food. My problem is we used to be given a couple sauses and a couple pieces of cornbread with it, so I didn't think we had to ask or pay extra for that but I guess now we know..just disappointed ?

Good BBQ right here. I’ve ordered the Fat Redneck (brisket over pulled pork and some collard greens) and it was a flavor bomb. BBQ ribs were seasoned well and didn’t really need any sauce but adding the sauce of your choice made it even better. My only complaint is excessive seasoning on their fries and pork rinds…just had a couple then we started dusting them off to be more tolerable. Last but not least, the jalapeño mac and cheese was terrific!

Brisket was a bit dry. The Mac and cheese did not have much flavor. Not sure what made it jalapeño?

Took my family out this weekend to a day of fun. We wanted to try something we never tried before . Entering the place both Guys at the counter hated to see our face . He said all we have is burnt ends and brisket . He said this twice . My wife asked no chicken tenders for the kids they hesitated and finally said yeah . I took a picture of the menu and we both were in disbelief that they had no other food . First time experience was not great at all . I give true reviews . P.S. We will try again . My daughter let me bite her chicken tender is was pretty Good .

First time at the BBQ Lab and we will be back! Largest menu of any bbq place we’ve ever been. Had brisket and pulled pork. The brisket was a tiny bit dry, but then again we were there late in the day. The pulled pork was maybe the best we’ve ever had (and we know our pulled pork!). Please order the baked beans! Every employee was outwardly friendly and helpful. Their array of sauces are at the table. Coming back for the pork ribs and the pastrami. Also quite curious about the house-made pork rinds, hush puppies, fried pork sandwich and banana pudding!
