Latest review: today I tried the harvest bowl with added chicken and my companion tried the fried chicken, potato cracklins, and gumbo. And it was pretty darn good. The server was a little slow to respond to our needs but it was pretty busy. The pics are from this most recent visit.Previous review: Delicious modern food - I really like it. The mountain bowl, the rainbow bowl, cauliflower bites appetizer, the shakshuka breakfast dish, the buttermilk biscuits, the lavender lemonade are the options I've tried and each was delicious and fresh. The service was on par, too! There is parking in the garage on Stafford Ave in the same building Tupelo Honey is in AND there is a Tupelo Honey parking lot a little further down on Stafford Ave.Parking: The garage rarely has spots available and the overflow lot gets full, too

Love this restaurant! Service was great, the food is amazing. Our favorites were the biscuits, pimento cheese dip, and chicken and waffles. Magen is the best. Highly recommend.

When we came to Charlotte about 6 months ago we really liked Talupa. We were in town for a jazz concert and decided to go again before heading back to Raleigh. The staff was very friendly, and. one of the reasons we returned. The avocado toast (gluten free) was barely toasted and the meal was not hot. The chicken eggs Benedict came out luke warm. They did order another one, but it wasn’t hot either. The potatoes were really good.We asked to be seated at table. They said there weren’t any available, when I fact there were several. The bathrooms are disgusting. Which makes one wonder what is the kitchen like?Hopefully this honest review will be of benefit to the owner and his staff.

The food was not too good. I ordered the chicken and waffles. The chicken was overcooked. For 4 people I paid about $200 . Not worth the price. But the cocktails were amazing !

Amazing brunch spot near Downtown with a creative and fresh menu! We got the brussel sprouts as an appetizer and they were crispy with such a flavorful romesco. I ordered the smoked salmon with grit cake and loved it so much! I appreciate that the food is fresh and flavorful without being too salty or greasy at all. My friend got the breakfast bowl and even that, while crispy and savory, had such a fresh taste to it! Also a very fun selection of drinks. Excited to come back!

First off, if you're planning on going during the weekend, reservations are a must. It makes ALL the difference!!I ordered the honey dusted fried chicken with broccolini for my main course and fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. The fried chicken was so flavorful and juicy, and the slight hint of honey on the skin made it absolute perfection. I craved this for almost 2 weeks afterward - it was that good. ? The broccolini and fried tomatoes were also delicious, but the chicken was definitely the stand out.Not pictured, but not to be forgotten, was their blueberry lavender mimosa. Hands down, it was the best mimosa I've had. The ingredients were fresh, and the mix of blueberries and lavender meshed so well together. I tried making this at home, but it wasn't the same. Our server was helpful in getting us exactly what we wanted, and her recommendations were spot on.
