Bit pricey, but their vodka creme penne is the best Italian food I've ever had at a restaurant. Serving sizes are slightly on the large side, but probably average when it comes to Italian restaurants.

Love this place. The food is good and the portions are huge. The staff was friendly and attentive. We will be returning next time we are in Raleigh.

I love this place! City market is always so cute and quaint. I hope Raleigh keeps it up. The string lights, the music, the easy parking, and the gnocchi!! Y’all it’s ?

Helpful and friendly staff, food was delicious and priced great! Good portion of meat and vegetables in the pasta unlike some places. Plus it was enough for lunch and dinner too. I will definitely come back. They give you a ticket to go pay at the cashier.

The food was good. There are a bit cold in nature. My server was a very nice lady and she took very good care of me. The ambience was neither here or there but there was a problem. They add 4% to your bill and they say there's a note on the door, but I didn't see one. So the price that you see on the page go ahead and add 4% to that bill. I took pictures to show you.

I will say that this place reminded me of Little Italy in New York, complete with wall murals and a manager who was a bit rude at first. POSITIVES: Good chicken piccata, great penne with vodka sauce, good coffee. MID: the pasta with squid in marinara. The sauce and pasta were good, but tainted with a fishy flavor and the squid was rubbery. I will say that my husband liked it. NEEEDS WORK: The garlic knots were really hard and tasteless. Don’t bother. I was sad about that because they looked delicious. The cheesecake was way overcooked, almost had the texture of scrambled eggs. I wish I had tried the pizza because the manager boasted about how great it was…authentic NY, he said. The big turnoff was that we made reservations for 5 and one of our party was sick. After we were seated, the manager asked where our last member was. We told him he had Covid, and he replied that people have been spreading Covid since the 1950s and we needed to move to a smaller table so another reservation could have our table…they never came and we sat at a small cramped table next to the take-out area. Not the best experience for my daughter’s 16th birthday.

Vic's is always a great and tasty place to eat at when downtown. Great location on charming cobblestone streets and a good environment inside.

We love getting lunch here, we ordered and had a mistake on our order and they went over and beyond to make it right. Customer service is as fabulous as the food.

Always get cheese pizza. As pizza man from New York I can confirm this Pizzaria is the closest you’ll get to a NY/ Northern Pizzaria. As son of previous owner of slices and ices in wake forest and an employee of Difara in Cary. This pizza is closet I can get to home sense we changed businesses. I’ll most likely bring my family here in future. Food is cooked similarly to Lazio region of Italy. Pasta fagioli is good. Look forward to trying new dishes wanna see how good the manicotti is.
