Kiara (bartender) and Lex (manager) were awesome! The food was superb only to be outshined but the hospitality. Can’t wait to come back.

Vidrio is a unique piece of Raleigh where there is good food, and a captivating experience. The small plates were still satisfying and the service was bar none. Our waitress Michelle gave stellar service and made everything easy for us. Will definitely come back agai

Visiting in for the weekend, this was a great find! Our server, Ty, had great recommendations and was incredibly personable as we tried to choose between all the delicious options. This was a great place for two people who like to share. Would 100% recommend!Vegetarian options: Easy to navigate and delicious options!

Never have I been more disappointed in a dining experience. We were seated in the wrong section (in the bar section where it’s significantly louder and more casual service, instead of dining where we booked) and when I realized, I approached the host and hostess about it, instead of being immediately apologetic, they became defensive attempting to blame us that we booked the wrong section which was not the case. We asked them to move us to the correct area as per our booking and eventually were moved (this is almost an hour after our reservation time). Why have a selection for the dining area during booking when it is not honored?Service is painfully slow, it took over 20 minutes for servers to arrive to the table, drinks took over 30 minutes, food is absolutely mediocre at best in quality. It really depends on what you’re looking for, if it’s for a drink and small bite in a “flashy place” and you don’t mind sitting around, this is the place. If you want quality food and service for the price they charge, avoid this restaurant. It appears to be poorly managed and staff needs improved customer service training. Wait staff was pleasant when they were present but service was slow, and bare minimum. For the price of dining, Vidrio needs to do better. Sadly, all smoke and mirrors.Photo of sad $40 steak and its side attached.

Dining at Vidrio was an amazing experience, food was impeccable, service outstanding, the restaurant itself is a work of art. We had the brown butter chicken large plate and the patatas bravas, Caesar salad and beef skewers for small plates. The potatoes were creamy on the outside, crispy on the outside and not at all greasy. The salad was charred and the dressing was tahini based and amazing, an elevated and sophisticated version of a Ceasar salad. The beef skewers were tender and well seasoned, and all portions were generous, unlike what you might see in other tapas restaurants. The chicken was perfectly cooked and served with a mashed potato foam that was absolutely delicious and nothing like I've ever had. The desert was amazing (chocolate creme brulee). Our server Erin was fantastic and very careful and helpful around food allergies. Too often we go to restaurants that are expensive with mediocre food, and it was very exciting to find a place like Vidrio. Congratulations to the owners and staff on an outstanding establishment.Dietary restrictions: Great options and flexibility

I want to preface this review with, my friends and I enjoy Vidrio a fews times a year and have always left happy. I have even celebrated my last two birthdays at Vidrio. This year I went ahead and made the reservation for my birthday a month in advance just to make sure that we could be accommodated. Unfortunately, I was called today, three days prior to my reservation, and told that they would have to cancel due to a private party. I was taken aback by this news as I thought they were calling to confirm my reservation and I was met with the response that they would "take care of me" the next time I visited.I spent over a decade in the hospitality industry and understand that things can happen but to make this mistake and not have a resolution or to let me know of a specific way that you intend to "take care of me" is a let down. You go to a restaurant to enjoy the food and drinks but even with the best food if the customer service is a let down you will not forget that.

Went here for Easter brunch 2024 after a lovely brunch in 2023. Such a disappointment! Last year had a coffee bar, multiple entree options, and beautiful and tasty desserts and was worth the $65/head. This year we returned expecting the same level of food offerings and it felt like a bait and switch. Other than eggs, bread pudding, pastries, and salad, there wasn’t much to be found. No real entrees besides one option for roast beef. Last year had a delicious salmon option as well as ham - this year nada. Coffee and water were extra. I figure I ate about $10 of food for the $65 price tag, and I’m being generous. We won’t be back.
