Vinos Finos has a very decent wine selection and the service was great! We started at the bar and had wine flights (super fun way to sample multiple wines). The crostini of the day was burrata with pesto and tomato’s with arugula and balsamic glaze. Yummy! Perfection with a bartender selected red wine flight! We then moved outside and had a lovely bottle of Merlot with sandwiches from the Italian deli next door. I highly recommend Vinos Finos for a complete dining experience at Lafayette Village.

I love this place! I've visited Vinos Finos at least half a dozen times in the past several years, and I am never disappointed. I especially love the truffle deviled eggs and avocado boats. The paella is delicious as well. They have an outstanding wine selection, but I usually choose the Malbec because it's really good. Oh, and the $5 off yelp check-in offer is a nice bonus!

This restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. Was totally not worth the price. The chicken wings were tiny and hard, the ice cream on the dessert was melted, and I can't tell you about the filet mignon, because I never received it. I ordered a coffee and specifically asked if there was Splenda (If there wasn't, I wouldn't have ordered it) to which the server responded that they did have Splenda. I waited a very long time before reminding the server of my coffee and finally receiving it.Sometime after she took our main course order, she returns to the table and tells two ladies in my party that what they ordered is not available because someone told the kitchen to close down and didn't tell the servers. She took their replacement order and then went to put it in the system. She never looked at me, she never asked me if I wanted something else so I assumed that my meal was available and would be arriving. It did not. When I brought this up to her, she proceeded to tell me that she came back to the table and told us that it our meals were not available. She never told me that. I know that because I would have ordered something else, because I was hungry. She never asked me what I wanted to replace my meal with or if I even wanted something else. And this was strange to me because she knew what I ordered because we talked about the temperature of the steak. In which she told me that I didn't have an option it comes as it comes.I did order the bacon wrapped dates as well as the crab cakes and they were phenomenal! For dessert I got the ricotta cheese cheesecake, it was outstanding! My overall feeling feeling on this experience is that the staff in this restaurant were more concerned with going home than they were concerned with ensuring we had a good experience. The restaurant closed at 9:30 we arrived at about 8:45. I'm not exactly sure why the kitchen closed 45 minutes before the restaurant, because in my 20 years of being a server, I have never had that happen. Sure they might close a few minutes early but definitely not 45 minutes. If you really want to eat here, I recommend arriving way before they close and maybe even double checking to make sure that the server actually got your order correct.

Vinos Finos never disappoints. It's our go-to at least once every week or two. Wonderful wine selections and we're very fond of the staff, which doesn't change often. Quite a testament to the management! The weekly specials are always scrumptious and well prepared.

Food was okay. The staff was friendly. My wife was a fan of the wine flight that she ordered.

The wine selection is great! Food not so much, the paella was disappointing. I thought it was Spanish tapas but the menu had chicken wings and Peruvian food?…very confused with their theme menu.

Vinos Finos is a hidden gem. It has a sophisticated yet cozy atmosphere and you are always greeted with friendly, professional staff. They have high quality food and excellent wines that you don't see in other restaurants. They also have a very generous pour of the wines vs more expensive and smaller glasses of wine in other establishments. The unique, european style location is like nothing else around. We continue to come back to Vinos and we're happy to be regulars here!

This tapas restaurant is something else and it's amazing!!! We loved it, the service was great, the food was super tasty and the whole environment was super relaxing and welcoming. This is a great place for date nights, groups and everything in between, definitely something adult friendly kid free environment. Their wine selection is really good. For food we went for the lamb sliders, caprese jumbo lump crab cakes and the grill honey/spicy swordfish all the food was another level, (the fish was our favorite) but everything else was so good that it melted in your mouth and their cocktail was really good if you are not into wine. We enjoyed all the food we tried and definitely will be back to try more of their food. The chef was out on the floor checking in with the guests and making sure everything was good, which is something you don't see often. It's a place to go for locals but even if it's your first time you feel like a regular and excellent service!!!! I will go back for sure and I will highly recommend it ???

We were visiting from Austin and I picked this place out...my wife is WSET Diploma and working on her Master of Wine. The wine menu has a few things on it she liked but we were hoping for more...alas, not their fault--it's just a NC market I'm afraid as it seems everytime we look for a place visiting family that moved here, finding that ultra-shiek cool options, great small plate bomb wine place. Never fear--service and food here were good, and it's a pleasant atmosphere...worth visiting.
