I would prefer to not have to give a bunch of personal info to create a resy profile when I come to the host booth. Just wanted a table and dinner. Food was nice but please prioritize hospitality over gathering marketing data.

Super cool patio with great Raleigh skyline view. The brussel sprouts are to die for! Fun flight of various beers. And a super cool event called F*** Up where folks spoke about times where they messed up in life and the lessons learned. Great spot!

Wye Hill Kitchen & Brewery is *wonderful* all-around... it's a great place to share small plates and grab a locally brewed craft beer -OR- meet up with friends for brunch and afternoon cocktails -OR- if you come hungry, go for the delightful full large plates... but let your partner have a bite. ;-) Service is always warm and attentive and welcoming to all. Love, love, love the outdoor seating with one of the best views of Raleigh. (Walk to the nearby bridge over the train tracks - next door - for a cool cityscape photo!) Highly recommend!

Be aware: if you substitute another side for the fries, there will be an additional charge! The waiter did not mention that there was a 'change fee' when I asked if I could swap the fries that came with my sandwich for broccoli instead. The cost for this ended up being an extra $5 plus an additional $.64 (listed as 'kitchen appreciation' on my receipt) for the substitute. Factor in a 20% tip, and that's $6.77 just to substitute a few pieces of broccoli! This policy really put a bad taste in my mouth, and just feels like an opportunistic move by the restaurant to generate extra income by misleading people.

Ordered the Wye Hill steak "medium-rare, but better to miss toward medium than toward rare" (i.e., prefer a bit overcooked to being undercooked). It came out medium-well to well-done, with shoe leather texture, a crime for a filet (well-seasoned and nice flavor, but borderline inedible). When I pointed it out to the server, he argued and said he saw some pink in the middle. Went to the bar and asked for the manager, who said, "our steaks are elongated in shape, so that happens." No offer to make it right. The broccoli was also so burned that it turned into literal charcoal.

Brought a friend from out-of-town. Great dinner overlooking the city. Food was very good. I ordered a salad and it was top notch, perfect amount of salad dressing. Was fun to share a flight of beer. Friendly service. Definitely recommend.

Love the atmosphere here and being able to see the Raleigh skyline during dinner. Food and drinks are always great and the staff are always kind! This is my favorite place to bring out of town guests!

Our dining experience at Wye Hill could not have been better. Reservations were easily made online. We arrived 20 minutes early and would have been happy to wait, but they seated us immediately by the rail with a beautiful view of the Raleigh skyline. When we asked to split an entree and a number of appetizers between us as our meal, they brought our (perfectly cooked) Wye Hill burger pre-cut in half for us. The food was outrageously good! The beers were tasty as well, especially Outskirts of a Dream. Toward the end of our meal, they brought us a handwritten card and some champagne to celebrate with us (we had noted in our RSVP that it was a special occasion)! As we were leaving, we tried to take a selfie, and they offered to take it for us, which turned out to be a beautiful photo commemorating the occasion. It really could not have been a more perfect way to celebrate. We can't wait to go back. Thank you, Wye Hill!

Great location. The Boylan Bridge is special to me. Its one of my favorite views of Raleigh.I lived in one of the cool old houses next to it and its where I proposed to my wife. That just adds to how great this restaurant is though. Everyone is friendly and the food is top notch. I don't think I’ve ever had a bad experience here.I believe the building used to be a welding/machine shop back in the day if I’m not mistaken and being a welder thats another thing that makes this place cool to me. Anytime I mention Wye hill as an option its usually where we end up going.

Great food, service, atmosphere. Not a fan of the extra "kitchen appreciation" charge that gets snuck onto the final receipt. Pay your employees more if you want to show your appreciation for them and bake that into the price of your dishes.
