This was a very friendly, welcoming restaurant from the moment we walked in. Kaled, the owner, was genuinely happy to have us for our first visit. The food was great, and all the toppings were very fresh. I got the chicken bowl with half rice and half salad. My wife got the chicken shawarma pita. I also tried pickled turnip for the first time. Very colorful, and very tasty! Kaled gave us a sample of their falafel; stating he wanted us to try it. It tasted great! The customer in front of us was there just to get a lemonade. She commented to us that their lemonade is "the bomb!" I might have to try it next time. It was more food than we could eat. We'll definitely come back. Plenty of parking since it's in the shopping center with Sprouts Farmers Market, City Barbeque and Bad Daddy's Burger Bar. Right across from the Hallmark Store.

My recent visit to Yaba Mediterranean Grill left much to be desired. Arriving on a Sunday evening with my wife, we were eager to sample their cuisine but were ultimately disappointed with the experience. We opted for a chicken rice bowl salad and a gyro plate, totaling $33. However, the quality of the food fell short of expectations. The chicken was undercooked, emitting a raw smell, and the yellow rice was mushy, sticky, and cold, indicating improper temperature control. Regrettably, I couldn't stomach more than a few spoonfuls of the rice before discarding the rest, and upon returning home, I became ill and threw up.Adding to the dissatisfaction was the behavior of the staff member behind the counter, who was not only loud but also rude. His profanity-laden phone conversation, oblivious to the presence of other patrons, created an uncomfortable atmosphere, particularly among the women in the establishment. Furthermore, witnessing his inappropriate conduct (flirting) towards female customers further soured our experience. The cleanliness of the premises was also lacking. Tables were dirty, necessitating cleaning before use, and the overflowing trash can emitted an unpleasant odor. The main entrance door was smudged with fingerprints, suggesting a lack of maintenance.Overall, the combination of subpar food quality, poor customer service, and unsanitary conditions leads me to advise against visiting Yaba Mediterranean Grill, especially for those seeking a respectful environment for their families.I don't think Yaba Mediterranean deserve even one star. But I don' t have choice.Parking: N/A

We ordered takeout from here. I got the Gyro plate, and my boyfriend got the Gyro sandwich. The food was fresh and delicious, with good portions for the price. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for Mediterranean food. The employees are also nice and provide good service. We will definitely be back to try different dishes!

Wowzas! We wanted to try this place for a while now, but we’re rarely in the area. We popped in today and you better believe we’ll be making a special trip to frequent! Everything was excellent and cooked to perfection. We got the euro sandwich and the chicken kebab plate.

First time trying this restaurant, and it is now definitely my favorite Mediterranean restaurant in the Triangle area. Kusai and Mazen were very nice, explaining the menu and the preparation of dishes to me and my 10-year-old son. The food and service are definitely 6 stars! 100% recommended.

Since moving to Raleigh last summer, this is my favorite restaurant! I love the chicken shawarma wrap and the seasoning on the fries is amazing! The falafel is great too. The guys that work there are always so nice and generous. Thank you, Yaba, for always being delicious and friendly!

I’ve been here quite a few times but last two times the young guys working hasbe rude in a nice way. I can decern people you can’t get to much by me. I got hummus no olive oil or red spice they put in it. My first visit they offered pita bread lately they haven’t. If my money is good then I am good. Can’t separate the two. But food is good tho. But customer service is what keep people coming back.
